Ghosts [feat. Planetarium Music]

Ana Caravelle (real name, Anahita Holden), is a composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Los Angeles and residing in Santa Barbara, California. Anahita takes the influence of her environments and turns them into lush, organic and melodic gardens for listeners to plant their ears into. Basic Climb and Benthic, Ana’s releases under Los Angeles-based label Non Projects reflect years of classical harp training and saw her take musical flight with comprehensive and adroit songwriting and arranging skills. Recorded at Alpha Pup label head Daddy Kev’s studio The Echo Chamber and Apogee Studios, these releases showcase Ana’s soulful harp playing and luxuriant voice matched with her rich instrumental arrangements for voice, strings, winds and percussion.

Ana Caravelle's latest EP release Notes from the Museum can be found on Bandcamp, as a format of donating to ACLU. It is inspired by several selected exhibits at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, intertwined with Anahita's life adventures. Notes from the Museum features Anahita's signature harp and voice layers, as well as sweet string accompaniments by Christopher Votek and Yvette Holzwarth, and was recorded and produced by Christopher Votek.
