Long before learning the decks, she became the selector amongst friends, curating a groovy whimsical sound that continues to keep the dance floors moving. Playing her first gig at Kremwerk to a sold out show, opening for Experimental Housewife, Ana Lucid is multifaceted DJ playing groovy house music for open air parties and the harder styles of techno in Seattle's own basement scene.

The third track on the latest Stavroz EP is a captivating collaboration featuring Brussels-based pianist, producer and sound designer, Poltrock. In this mesmerizing composition, a combination of ethereal-sounding synths and duduk are combined with ghostly high-pitch distortions. Despite a backbone of muffled beats, the tune has vaporous qualities, reverberations that wobble and tinkle into space – it’s an easy listening experience but in a trippy, spaced-out way.

This musical direction exemplifies the essence of Stavroz's artistic philosophy, encapsulated in their motto: "We're trying to go for the sweet spot between the couch and the club." This approach has become a hallmark of the band's style, seamlessly blending elements of relaxation and danceability to create a unique and entrancing sonic experience that resonates with a diverse audience.
