The mysterious artist known as Cityzen just dropped an equally-curiously named new track, "Unicorns on a Rocket Launcher," on R3HAB's CYB3RPVNK imprint. After the first listen, you'll quickly realize how suiting the title is: with bouncy, driving basslines, UK-garage and g-house influences coupled with a catchy vocal riff, one can almost imagine explosions of technicolor sparkles going off during its undulating drops. "Unicorns on a Rocket Launcher" is perhaps Cityzen's most festival and club-ready track to date. It follows his prior releases "Sirius" and "Rave Tech Repeat," released this year on CYB3RPVNK, which was the first place this time-bending artist appeared to anchor himself in this dimension. Cityzen seems to always keep the world guessing as to his next move, so stay tuned to find out what he comes up with next. 


Although not much is known about Cityzen yet, we can be extremely positive about three noticeable attributes: his affinity for the color red, unique glasses, and his desire to give people the intense beats that one would imagine hearing on the metallic streets of a futuristic metropolitan. Perhaps Cityzen (aka СИТИЗЕН) can live in the past and the future at the same time, giving him the ability to merge vintage hardware like Moog synthesizers with futuristic house rhythms of the modern age. His sound continues to evolve with every newly released track, and is "Unicorns on a Rocket Launcher" is any indication, Cityzen is on the verge of something huge and previously unimagined--and all the world can do is wait. Armed with his sparkling glasses and affinity for the color red, Cityzen brings to life a crossover of old and new that will become the unique sound of the next generation.

“Reminisce” is the second single from Toronto Is Broken’s forthcoming third album “Clare”, bringing forth a new chapter regarding the sound of Toronto Is Broken. Finally fusing together his two music loves, drum & bass and metal, with such clarity, “Reminisce” sets the benchmark in what to expect from TIB’s new album and music from now on.

Natty Campbell (Chase & Status, Chopstick Dubplate & Dub Pistols) also returns for vocal duties after last year’s collaboration “Set It” (ProgRam), providing a high energy vocal, perfectly complimenting the track’s aggressive low-tuned guitars and driving drums.

The flipside features a remix from up and coming YANA producer Matt Neux, bringing his jungle roots to the forefront; big 808's and hefty foghorns. This one's for the bucket hat crew!

YANA013 has also been released in association with the Beats in Mind: Headsbass mental health project, with all funds raised being donated to various mental health charities. YANA013 drops on 14th August 2020 on all major online stores and streaming platforms.

hello again! I said I would release this if Evoo hit 1k but I've been holding on to this track for too long for my liking and I really wanted you guys to hear this :)

Similar to Evoo, the style of "Bubbles" is one of the 3 main styles I want to keep making as Ilysian. i got inspired by some of the songs and ideas i hear from night owl collective when i was making this as this similar sound always had me super interested so i decided to take a shot at it. hope you guys enjoy! part 3 of my styles will be coming soon :)
