His passion for electronic music sees him firstas an organizer and Dj/selector since the early
2000s, but his true passion is the studio life,between synth and drum machine, producing music
for his live sets.

In 2016 he creates his first live set with Aldo Di Paolo (Tanghetto), followed by a series of collaborations with musicians and performers, including Nu Guinea on stage at Bari Music Week.

Since 2018, Twovi has been a resident of the Sound Department in Taranto, where he has
performed with his live sets. His performances are characterized by house and techno sounds, in
a whirlwind of dreamy, deep, breakbeat, electro,and synth-wave contaminations.

"It all started as we took our 1 year old son for a little family outing to our local, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. As we sat down to watch the afternoon ‘Aboriginal Culture Show’, I decided to field record the performance. Straight away I was blown away by Luthers’ rich and soulful voice. Luther is a proud Yugambeh man, who strives to bond all Australians through song, dance and art. “The Aboriginal culture – the histories, the stories – they belong to this land and so if you are Australian, they belong to you too”, he says.

A few weeks later ‘Jingeri’ (meaning “welcome”) was made through the alchemy of Luthers’ samples and my hardware. I then approached Luther to show him ‘Jingeri’ and to see if he would be interested in collaborating. I was delighted when I could see his enthusiasm for the project and we locked in a studio session. From what was a short, but super productive 2hr session, birthed ‘Nunya’, the second track on the EP. The traditional Yugambeh lyrics “Nunya mulla, nunya bayami” mean “Thanks creator, thanks to those around me”.

The EP titled ‘Jingeri’ was done, all that was left was the artwork and who better to visually represent this body of work than Luther himself. He designed this traditional artwork, which he calls ‘3 Brothers’. In Luthers’ words, “3 Brothers represents me, my 2 brothers, our families and our continuing connection to country and culture”.

I have been a massive fan of the Beats of No Nation family for a long time and when I heard they wanted to release this EP I was delighted. I want to thank Luther for all of his time and contributions to these tracks. I am so happy to have made a new friend and collaborator and am super inspired for what the future holds musically." Chicago? Absolutely! Detroit? Definitely! For many, however, a significant chapter in the coming-of-age story of House music was also written in The Netherlands.

This 8-track compilation is the result of a nationwide search for lost Digital Audio Tapes (DAT’s), dusty home-studio recordings, and other relics from those early days. The distinctive "House" sound eventually evolved into a rainbow of local styles and grooves. Back then, DJ’s played their heart out and didn’t limit themselves to any particular musical genre. Following that spirit, this compilation contains everything that makes the Dutch sound so special, from energetic Breaks to atmospheric Deep House.

These are not your usual suspects, not even the most revered diggers have this collection at their fingertips. It's raw, pure material from the time when house parties were fresh and dirty at the same time. Back when the only dress code was a wide smile from ear to ear. Fata Morgana’s concept draws from @ispirian's live sets in the USA. Then, back in Europe, Vasco refined his performance and the live takes were finally mixed and mastered in Madrid. The project sees the light in 2023, after the global impasse the world went through, as a two EP installment: Fata Morgana I & II.

Like a complex optical illusion perceived as a banner over the sea horizon, where sight is significantly distorted and changes rapidly, unlike any other ordinary mirage, a true Fata Morgana comprises several inverted and steepled illusions, stacked on one another, showing alternating compressed and stretched sonic lands.

The term named after the Mistress of the Fairies of the Salt Sea, King Arthur's half-sister Morgan le Fay, encapsulates the hallucinatory prowess of the seduction myth, a symbol of incantation and sensorial catharsis among the pleasure and the pain meanders.

PREMIERE: Vasco Ispirian - Wickbush [Collateral Series]

Dimitris Anagnostou, born in Thessaloniki, grew up surrounded by the flourishing urban subcultures of the city. Hip Hop, graffiti, the breakbeat and electro sounds of the b-boys, later on diy parties and clubbing. His fascination with sound was ignited during his teenage years, leading him to explore production and record digging, shaping a distinctive sound signature through experimentation with various aesthetics.   His sets defy categorisation, offering a diverse palette that resonates with the specific time and space of his performances. Similarly, his music spans a broad aesthetic context, cultivating a continually evolving personal style. Over the years, Dimitris has released music on numerous labels and under various monikers. His most recent work includes a contribution to AFFIX Records’ second VA installment, showcasing his versatility and gaining recognition from highly respected international figures.
