We first heard LOU's music at the start of 2021, as he self released his feel good house tracks entitled 'Nature Tool' and 'Forest Void', which prompted us to get in touch with the young producer to request to premiere one of his next tracks, such was our love for his sound.

Hailing from the small town of Portarlington, Laois, LOU is a 23-year-old Irish DJ & producer, who like most, began his DJ career playing locally, running club nights and parties in his hometown, while playing raves and club nights across the Midlands. 

Upon arriving in NCAD for college in Dublin, he went on to create the NCADJ Society with fellow rave confederate Lorcan Rush, throwing regular 'anything goes' parties on campus and across venues in Dublin. This helped open the door for him to start playing solo at club nights in the city and beyond, featuring in spaces such as Hangar (R.I.P), Wigwam, Berlin D2, Button Factory and The Grand Social where he appeared alongside the likes of Or:la, Saoirse, Cromby & Long Island Sound to name just a few.

3 years ago, LOU made the decision to venture into production, using his spare time from college work to get to grips with Ableton. In December of 2019 he began releasing music and since the pandemic hit he has been using the lockdowns to hone in on his craft, experimenting with different styles and learning new techniques. His most recent productions have been of a house and breakbeat nature, taking influence from productions of the 90's and the more euphoric sounding modern day releases.

Hosting the new track by URTE for the upcoming none/such compilation is an honor for us. Following her output for some year's now, the producer and DJ from Freiburg, Germany, never disappoints with her genuine take on emotional club music. 

URTE's track Morse is part of none/such’s next charity compilation which is an effort to raise money for Refugees4Refugees, an independent community network of refugee activists who fight for the protection of their human rights, equality, freedom, and dignity. Standing united against social exclusion in order to contest cultures of isolation, racism, and discrimination, R4R organizes grassroots resistance and campaigns against the oppression of refugee communities in Germany and Europe enabling freedom of movement for the most marginalized. The compilation is free, but all proceeds will go directly to the Refugees4Refugees network.

During the winter period of 2022, Arnaud is Dancing composed what has culminated in a 3 track EP ‘Plasma Mission’, transcribing the emotionally charged and turbulent experience that is post covid clubs. Inspired by a night out in a Local Nantes Club Macadam, where time seems to simply evaporate, these tracks fuse feelings of nostalgia coupled with zealous energy.

Between heavily programmed basslines and discrete acid leads, Arnaud's 3 tracks are impassioned, zesty & bouncy, morphing into ecstatic and fiery d-floor bangers.
