Enigmatic Italian house connoisseurs Quasar and Cristo join the Lost Palms catalogue with a 4-track collaboration which touches base at tech house, deep house and all the flavours in between. Bursting onto the scene in 2017 with the widely-recognised ‘Lovesongs’ EPs, Quasar has since been perfecting his craft. His collaboration with Cristo sees the two depart somewhat from the lofi sensibilities which have characterised their music so far, instead favouring a harder-hitting and more diverse sound destined for the club.

Kicking things off is big-room banger ‘Ginga’, propelled by a fierce tech house beat and assertive arpeggios. ‘Non Ce Ne Importa Piu’ takes things down a notch, paying homage to the respective antecedents of each producer’s musical career with a lofi quality and a hypnotic melody. Euphoric piano stabs and diva-esque vocals power the hands-in-the-air sunshine slammer ‘(It's) Over’ before ‘Good For You’ takes things deep, closing the EP on a cool tone and proving the duo’s versatility.

Cassettes for Kids exemplifies a greater influx of high quality tunes from the Australian coastlines with his forthcoming EP titled ‘I Know’ on Sydney's  Finer Things Records. This Melbournian is no stranger to floor-filler deep house with proper tunes released on labels like Nerang, Bon Appetit, Tiger Tapes and Clipp.art to name a few but takes immense steps forward with ‘I Know EP’. Third and closing track, ‘All that’s inside me’ is tuned for the clubs with prominent grooves on the bassline, shimmering arpeggios, and crisp hi-hats that work as engines to keep you dancing through the night. Exquisitely layered with spacey chords to get lost to and reverberating vocal loops that cut in and out of the track like club lights intermittently flickering onto the heads and abled bodies on the dance floor.

Russian producer and PRGVSK Records label head, Baltimore Chop, is gearing up for his latest release 'The Flow' a 5 track raw deep house EP. The second track on the release is 'House Religion' a deep bumping house track with its rolling bassline, raw kick drum, classic deep house chords and a soulful male vocal sample.

Deep Dark Blue presents an album filled with gentle surprises. When We Get Together takes you through lightly psychedelic melodies for the heart and mind to get lost in. Though highly polished as a production, a sense of underlying spontaneity implies a process that’s closer to an improvised jam session than a planned composition. The lush synths, complex percussion, and shimmering melodies create rich backdrops for reveries. Each song bobs and weaves through opposite contrasts, often going back and forth between melancholic to bright. Yet each song remains cohesive and leaves you wondering how you arrived at the end of each track.

Zenbi, co-founder of the much-celebrated Brooklyn label and afterhours SOUP NYC, has cooked up a dense and tribal 12" with a heat and roll that's perfectly suited for the summer months, titled 'Chaga'.

Ahead of its release on August 9, Zenbi has handed over Huxley's beefed-up remix of his new single. The track's alluring stabs and weighted drums give way to a subtly powerful drop that takes the track's fantastic, harmonica-esque hook and breathes new life into it.
