London based @Hyasynthe pulls up slowly building delight, Aurora. Particles shuttle around in the upper atmosphere, causing reddish and green hues to dance, all as that same sample loops over and over, building, waxing and waning. How can the producers use of Ableton 10, 808’s and your own heartstring have such an effect on the magnetic pole of the earth? we're completely unsure. 

We never thought something with so emotionally driven, and many hued could be birthed from someone hailing from Milton Keynes; what some call the Jewel of the Buckinghamshire heartland, but most consider the complete antithesis. Opposites attract, we suppose but this sonic sonnet is one to be saved, that’s for sure.

US Born, Marseille based house producer and DJ, Grant returns to Lobster Theremin, with a 9 track album brimming with warm, melodic, deep house cuts. Fantasy Blues drops November 29th via Lobster Theremin.

Opener, Ephemeral Chase signals a cosmic journey, driven with four to the floor motive. Mind Space is spaced out, modern deep-house at it’s best. On the flip, Zarenzeit joins Grant on Amaranthine Profundity, while Finite Elements chugs into an ethereal, vocal cut. Manifest picks up the pace, note a welcome homage to London town. Previous collaborator, Dan Piu features on stripped-back roller, Boundless. Joining forces on Invisible Skills, Brooklyn based composer Emil Abramyan injects otherworldly influences to the album, followed by Melancholic wiggler, Lucent Eyes. The Road In Front Of Me rounds out the release on soulful, classic tip, with velvet vocals courtesy of Jenifa Mayanja. Blissful.

Roman Rauch is back with another outing on his Life Is For Living imprint. On the A-side he’s joined by his studio partner Peletronic for a jazzy banger heavily influenced by some tasty pizze before the session. The flip side offers a dancefloor oriented, infectious tune named “Lawless”. Could this be a reference to himself, a clue to the original sample or both? You take the guess.

Also lately of Hot Haus Recs., Barcelona mainstay @lissarroca is a well-known part of the BCN scene and has been getting support from the likes of The Black Madonna recently. It's not hard to see why with her new EP from always-impressive partly-Barcelona-based label @sinnmusik, and this dreamy cut is our favourite of the bunch. Hazy swathes of electric piano chords get heavy reverb action atop a lazy beat while a delicate FM arpeggio trickles in and out of the foreground along with some other heavenly tones. Succinct and spacious, it's a gorgeous ride.
