Just like in life in general, plenty of great stuff end up in the dumpster, and some of it, when used properly, will last longer than many things purchased at the store.

I consider these kinds of tracks "pointers" to the actual tracks/audio, that's why I generally don't include them in my playlists.  Also I try to make real playlists, meaning you can leave it play anywhere, anytime, while you do something else, and it plays like a very long piece of music.  Previews break this flow.

Analog Section returns to its primary nature with a third reference on vinyl format by its head leader Sarf, he assumes a role similar to an alchemist busied in transforming arithmetic processes into sound structures with two original tracks that do justice to their names.

Developer and Lag are adjudged two equidistant versions with different results, the first emphasizes the depth exerted by a hard enviroment that relies mainly on low frequencies and the contrast of this with an acute tone lacking harmonics. The second exegesis is more direct than the previous ones, the marked rhythm provides energy and perception of the increase in the metric.

Taro favourite Metrocat jumps in to turn it into a deeper nightmare, as only he can. Whisky & Striptease as a sub heavy breakbeat number, with crazy one shot sounds, again forced back into techno territory on the remix by Taro Division (although not without its own break). The EP closes out with more synth weirdness in the form of 36. All in all, a release to unnerve you.

2020 has been a very prolific year for the the duo, delivering their 4th EP for the label so far this year. All their firing trademark sounds and intricacies remain intact in this 3 track hard hitting release. 

Severed opens with hard, industrial elements as the relentless percussion fires off, but in true Slam style the vibe remains hypnotic and engaging. Motor drifts into more Birmingham-esq  territory with twitch and modulating sequences leading the way again straight, jacked up percussion. Intensifying things on the last track, Electrical turns up the drive and delivers tension with white knuckle percussive workouts, thundering kicks and dynamic synths.
