•—Why analogdog?—•
I thought it sounded cool “analogdog”. Dog, cause, dogs are sick + I got KH’s “DJ Dog” on my arm. And the old heads were all telling me the analogue, old style gear was where the real deal was. 

As a young sprout, I thought that was funny: I first came up on the oldest, crustiest most DISGUSTING analogue Allen + Heath board imaginable in high school. I thought I really leveled it up with a digital X32 down the road. Let alone the higher digital end stuff that’s on the road and in studios now. But that old gear is ever-present, still refusing to quit.

Anyway, let’s be real for a minute? It all meets to make the same end. Just different flavors or routes of doing so- and there is argument for both- but I'm mostly a digital girl these days. Not gonna lie, if it means I don’t have to go through 50,000+ patchbays to quickly record a vocal on a bunch of already digitally processed + compressed drum samples, chops, or whatever…I’m grabbing the Focusrite every time LOL. I’ve even recorded on my phone.

So as a name, it’s a little tongue in cheek anymore. But what’s the point of life if not to have fun?
