Yet another cover of Depeche Mode's Newlife to try out my new Arturia Minibrute.

For anyone interested, everything you hear is produced by the Minbrute. I have only added a little echo and reverb.

Newlife (Arturia Minibrute)

No musical statement, just having an exploratory play with a pre-production demo unit Arturia MiniBrute Analog Synth, through a Universal Audio Apollo with a touch of UAD Roland Space Echo Spring Reverb (and Echoplex delay at one point).

It's a versatile beast, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Arturia MiniBrute Play-About Demo

A short audio demo of the free Arturia MiniBrute sample pack by Waveformless. The samples were loaded inside Zampler and I've added MuLab's built-in hall reverb.

Minibrute - The Trip

Started doing MODS for the Amiga 500 back in the early 90's. Moved on the PC, using a AWE32, 2MB dedicated RAM soundcard. Upgraded to SB Live and produced and experimented. Left electronic music and played guitar for 10 odd years, and now, I'm back in electronic music.

I especially like classical music, ambient, deep house, hard rock.

Inspirations: DJ Mylo, Moloko, Outkast, Feist, Metallica, Don Ross, Dire Straits, Bob Marley, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, Royksopp.
