Grandtheft first debuted on Jeffree’s last year with catchy banger “Mobbin” feat. Hedspin, bundled with “Give Me More”. This highly anticipated new single offers an epic follow up to those heavy hitters. This time, he’s teamed up with fellow Canadian power trio Keys N Krates to bring us “Keep It 100,” a swift and deadly, bass-laden roundhouse kick to the face of dance music.

Capataz immediately grabs your attention and makes you ask what is this The unique call and response vocal is instantly memorable and the overseer of the playful peak time track with an incredible sub 303 bass that holds everything together while pushing the song forward. You can hear the Girada Unlimited edit being played by Ricardo Villalobos at Amnesia and most recently in his BBC1 Essential Mix. The 12" vinyl features edits inspired from Liaisons Dangereuses, a 80's German electronic band founded by Beate Bartel and Chrislo Haas with vocalist Krishna Goineau. On the other side, Reserval have been made at Momo Trosman's house but there is no more information about it. Raresh's favourite.

For his Studio Barnhus debut, Laurence Guy connects the dots between the lo-fi ambient investigations of his 2017 debut album Saw You For The First Time, the warm club sounds heard on All I See Is Her, last year’s standout 12'' for Tokyo’s Mule Music, and the London-based dj and producer’s long roots in deep drum’n’bass and dubstep soil. Those roots, which have always been there as subtle rhythmical traces on Laurence Guy records, now appear more explicitly than ever, boosting the typically graceful harmonies and sooty samples of Guy's music with a new, profound energy. From the unswerving neo-jungle of Wildlife, through My Brain Is A Scrambled Egg with its dusty rave euphorisms, onwards to the hypnotic guitar ballad It’s Good To Try, this six-track EP is chock-full of the sort of unrestrained musical enthusiasm Studio Barnhus always stays on the look-out for.
