JACQUES SATRE - ANATOLE TRANCE EP - WORST002 Blossoming from the depths of Saint-Etienne, Worst Records is proud to present the second release of its catalog. In the right path opened by A Strange Wedding with his debut vinyl called «Meta Romance», Jacques Satre delivers with «Anatole Trance» a radical hallucinogenic journey through warped horizons of the mind. This longtime member of the Positive Education crew sets up a curious yet fascinating mixture of bass-driven downtempo techno, free-range acidalia and a fierce sense of absurd humor. The three tracks evolve slowly, building up between litanies for wrecked concrete samples and colorful enchantment. This ambivalence results in dancefloor burning tunes that could also be the soundtrack for mesmerizing off-time after-hours. A concentrate of local wizardry that unveils once again hollow zones of the sound of Saint-Etienne.

Near to twenty years after the release of his latest album, 'Travelogue II', the work of German producer Wolfgang Reffert, alias Dark Star, makes a welcome return on the record stores shelves in 2019 with two compilations for Italian imprint Dub Ito and Amsterdam's @knekelhuis.

The ship ground to a halt, its heavy machinery producing a loud creak as it slowed to a complete standstill. Screams echoed through the air and panic spread across the faces of those on board; everyone turned quickly on foot exploring every corner of the vessel to find the root of the problem. In the belly of the ship the glistening metallic engines rumbled, every man would need to work harder and faster than ever before to keep the ship afloat. But looking out to sea another fearful enemy loomed on the horizon, a storm that would take no prisoners...

For his next release Leipzig-based producer and DJ Credit 00 lands on London label Out The Flat with a four tracker that twists and turns through dark hypnotic house, acid and electro. The Rat Life Records boss has become known for his diverse productions, taking inspiration from EBM and acid to ghettotech, new wave and Detroit techno, which have made their way to labels like Bordello A Parigi, Pinkman, New York Haunted and Rat Life's sister label Uncanny Valley.

This compilation of 90 tracks was put together to support the feminist movement in the autonomous area of Northern Syria. All proceeds from the digital sales will be sent directly to the ‘Foundation of the Free Woman in Rojava‘ (Weqfa Jina Azad A Rojava) which is one of the last women’s organization in the area.

This is a call for maintaining the international solidarity with the revolution in Rojava. It is a musical interference against the imperialist war machinery, against capitalism. It is campaigning to raise awareness about the struggle of the Kurdish freedom movement.
Because the war against equality and freedom is a war against all of us.

For this 48th Premiere of 2020, we have a track by Gravedad Cinética from the upcoming EP "Le Flâneur Spatial" on the Electronic label based in Barcelona (Spain) : Aspecto Humano.

Gravedad Cinética is the alias used by Groovycosta to produce a more electro, techno-pop and 80s sound.
The artist works with subtle touches of classical techno, and recovers their own futuristic sounds in both live sessions and in DJ sets.

The new release from Aspecto Humano brings us a 12-inch by Gravedad Cinética, Electro project by Barcelona's Adrián Costa AKA Groovycosta. After publishing on some digital labels, Gravedad Cinética presents Aspecto Humano with Le Flâneur Spatial.

Five tracks with Electro as the main protagonist, although it's not the only one. Lines with blunt bass, a variety of arpeggios and outer space melodies, are all combined with 808 drums. It's kinetic music that creates a retro-futurist sound landscape with touches of classic Techno.

The vinyl will be in stores in the first two weeks of April. It has been mastered by Alden Tyrell and will be distributed as usual by Bordello a Parigi. This is a 300 copy edition on 140 gram black vinyl, with outer cover and black record sleeve.
