Emmanuelle Parrenin a toujours été une collecteuse de sons : elle apprend la musique
de façon clandestine et instinctive en reproduisant sur un piano les mélodies qu’elle entend
s’échapper de la maison familiale, où la musique résonne de partout : son père dirige le Quatuor Parrenin, et sa mère est professeure de harpe. 
En 1978, elle sort Maison rose, synthèse de dix ans de parcours folk et d’exploration des sonorités traditionnelles. En 1990, suite à un grave accident, elle devient sourde. Elle guérit en rééduquant ses oreilles par les sons de sa voix et la résonance de ses instruments. Au gré de ses voyages, elle collecte toutes sortes d’instruments de guérison et s’intéresse aux chants médecine et à toutes les techniques traditionnelles qui exploitent la dimension thérapeutique du son.
En 2011, trente ans après Maison rose, elle enregistre Maison cube qui poursuit l'aventure
folk telle qu'elle l'a toujours conçue : mâtinée de psychédélisme, de jazz et de chamanisme.
Les années 2011-2012 marquent sa rencontre avec les musiques électroniques :
Emmanuelle multiplie alors les collaborations avec des artistes comme Etienne
Jaumet, Eat Gas, Vincent Segal, Pierre Bastien, Detlev Weinreich alias Tolouse Low Trax...
Son chemin croise celui de Colin Johnco en 2017 lors d'un concert où il est invité, au
débotté, à mettre des effets sur les variations instrumentales d'Emmanuelle. De là, l'envie de créer ensemble prend forme et de rencontres en improvisations, ils dessinent peu à peu les contours d'un projet commun. Emmanuelle à la composition, aux instruments et à la voix, Colin aux effets et à la production. 
Le dernier chapitre de la trilogie des Maisons s’appelle “Targala, la maison qui n’en est pas une”. Inspirée en partie par son voyage aux portes du désert, où Emmanuelle s’est retrouvée bloquée au début du confinement. Elle finira par y devenir amie avec le paysage, les pierres et le sable, en constant changement. Un disque audacieux et hors du temps, qui nous emmène dans des méandres psychédéliques, pour revenir à des moments fragiles et acoustiques. Entre un plongeon sensoriel abyssal et une comptine murmurée au creux de l’oreille.

We are once again very glad to present to you this first solo album by one of our favorite producers, lee.

The Bristol resident has been mostly releasing tracks on compilations for labels such as Gablonkers , Calcul and Evel Records. He caught our attention with a very disctinctive melodic style and skillful intricate drum programming.

This is probably one of the most calm and beautiful releases on the label so far, we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
