„In Macrospace“. The monolithic album debut by Hamburg-based DJ x producer x electronic music activist baze.djunkiii, the essence of 25+ years on the scene and continuous research in sonic fields reaching far beyond your regular club music. 

A dark and threatening journey through the realms of brooding DeathAmbient, cold, hostile sci-fi atmospheres and an innate feel of darkness, doom, desolation and industrial wastelands covered in toxic fumes and the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse. 

Generated solely and exclusively by a process of extensive vocal synthesis the ten tracks on „In Macrospace“ represent a sonic manifestation of vantablack dystopia and mind threatening, braincell eroding claustrophobia, an ode to both minimalist sound structures as well as a maximized psycho-acoustic impact that might overwhelm even those used to stare into and listen to their innermost void  for extended periods of time.

These extracts and textures were the foundation for the additional production by THE 808 HILLBILLYS, turning them into IDM / Intelligent Techno / Armchair Techno reworks for advanced dancefloors.

"Combat Dubs - Dub Murderation" - a statement that is well suitable for the next release on Hamburg's most underground vinyl imprint Intrauterin Recordings which already has been on the scene since 1999. 

Led by a vocal sample of the labels mastermind baze.djunkiii this limited to 120 copies 7" whitelabel single does not only provide a unique and creative take on bass music - especially Grime,  Dubstep and Breaks as well as some echoes of early Jungle / Breakbeats - but also proves how long term relationships in the music industry finally fall into place to create musical results as the COMBAT DUBS project is formed in between Intrauterin Recordings-founder baze.djunkiii and the multi-active producer Sascha Müller who's also been responsible for the labels' cat.no. 005 way back in 2005.

After nearly two decades of friendship baze.djunkiii and Sascha Müller finally joined the studio together for the first time in early 2018 for a session with only the name COMBAT DUBS in mind and a rough plan to  dig deep into the realms of bass music for their very first collaborational effort. Fueled by this idea they churned out two tunes within less than eight hours from scratch, two variations on one main theme with one gravitating more towards the raw, unprocessed aesthetics of the early Grime scene whereas the second cut goes a little deeper, providing a smooth crossover between Dubstep and Breaks whilst an all embracing bass line and trancey strings are perfect tools to provide an ultimate lift off for late night crowds.

Intrauterin Alliance has been the joined forces project of baze.djunkiii and Homebass, productionwise and as back 2 back DJ-team in Drum'n'Bass / DarkJungle. "Lesson One" never saw an official release but smashed several dances from mid-2001 onwards as exclusive dubplate.

Maybe this is the most fiddly work / remix baze.djunkiii has ever been involved in. The original idea was to craft a Drum'n'Bass rework for Malte Steiner's Notstandskomitee-project but as it turned out that our only sample source would be a vinyl copy of his "Automatenmusik" album we picked like a handful clean sounds from the whole album, reprocessed them and built this rework from dot. All sounds used in this all album remix except for the bass drone and the barking dog are based on those few sounds we originally sampled from that LP and it took quite a while to develop a direction we wanted to go, serving a special twist on Notstandskomitee's unique music. Finally the track was released in 2002 on Notstandskomitee's "ReEngineered" 12" and some copies of this release are still available.

Although officially released via Dhyana Records on their 50th anniversary album this might be the first time that someone hears this very experimental track in its original version as this specific album was a conceptual stereo split release featuring 50 (LP) / 60 (CD) artists at all, which means that 25 (LP) / 30 (CD) tunes are placed on the left channel, the other 25 (LP) / 30 (CD) tunes on the right channel. Balance control at its usual position means a cacophonic listening experience when it comes to this album, if one wants to experience single tracks one has to turn the control either to the very left or very right position.

Full title is "The Psychedelic Avengers - Trapped Beneath The Silverdome Of The Undead Teenage Lesbian Mutant Vampire Queens From Veneris Prime"
The Psychedelic Avengers were originally formed as conceptual multi-artist project by Timo Lommatzsch and Sven Missulis to create "...the first psych-o-phonic in-head science fiction b-movie for inner-eye listening pleasures" which was released as their first album "...And The Curse Of The Universe" via Fünfundvierzig / Indigo in 2004. Based on the idea of having various artists providing different track parts for a final amalgamation of sound in the studio by the founders the Intrauterin Alliance a.k.a. baze.djunkiii & Homebass joined the pack and served banging Drum'n'Bass-influenced beats and techy bleeps used in this track alongside other parts provided by Funkster T-XC9 Missulis, Alia X. Navarro de la Paz and Timo Lommatzsch.

Another dubplate only tune crafted by the combined forces of baze.djunkiii & Homebass under their Intrauterin Alliance moniker in 2001. "Humanoid" teared up several dances in those long gone days and was featured as exclusive track on "Intrauterin Tapes 004 - Drum'n'Bass mixed by Homebass & baze.djunkiii" which was released as limited edition of 100 C60-cassette tapes.

This site has been set up to showcase some of the productions baze.djunkiii has been involved in since 2001.

Apart from being a prolific DJ, Youtube video creator and music writer baze.djunkiii is head and creative force behind the 1999 established label Intrauterin Recordings and its offshoots Intrauterin Tapes, El Caballo Semental and Freebreakz.FWD.
