Having James Shinra back on AF is always a cause for celebration, and doubly so this time because we present 'Meteorites’, his second album following the highly acclaimed Vital Heat (2018). During 2023-24, James uploaded a series of digital releases called 'Meteorites’, a set of dreamy and introspective tracks where the artist showed his evolution and maturity, refining the emotive sound that's his trademark and has garnered so much praise in recent years. We should do justice to that material, giving it a worthy treatment/format, so we decided to release all together. James has revisited and reworked many of the tracks for the occasion, polishing, adding, removing… and the result is 'Meteorites', the album. A MUST for all braindance sensibilities and nonconformist electronic  heads. We're sure it will remind you exactly why you loved this talented guy for so long and why he's one of the most uncompromising artists working in electronic music these days.

Zoen (@zzoenn) born and raised in Madrid, blends his lifelong love for rap with deep roots in electronic music.  What started with late nights in local clubs in the 90's soon turned into a full-blown passion leading him to start his vinyl collection in 2015, beginning with disco, funk, and American house before expanding into a variety of genres. On this occasion, he offers the recording of his set at the MLK Festival last February. From Dub to Electro, a podcast driven by passion and a deep connection to the culture. Enjoy it!

Eora’s dub-techno tastemaker Command D and Naarm’s harmoniser of the emotive and abstract Zara combine for Gravity Reset, a collaborative four-tracker on Butter Sessions.

Both producers are equally nestled with love into Australia’s underground, with releases on beloved labels like Animalia and Pure Space. Command D also boasts refined live sets heaving in sub-bass, while Zara's celebrated for boundary-blurring productions and her Kinesis imprint championing the local scene. On Gravity Reset, they meet in lockstep, delivering trance-inducing offerings rooted in a shared love of rhythm, space and subtlety seeded with dub minimalism and introspective, tech-driven sound design.The titular track 'Gravity Reset' sets the tone with a deep, persistent kick, reverberated snares, and a low-end that twists and lifts. 'Cascadia' introduces pad warmth and light percussion, where laughter weaves into the mix, adding a human touch to the dub-soaked cut. '2Pulse' brings expressive congas and dubby psychedelia into dialogue with the wubs, before The Fog closes in a haze of phasing hats and musky bass.

Command D & Zara - Gravity Reset (BSD08)

We are happy to presents you "Last Transmissions From Jevvers," the latest vinyl release from @caldera-caldera. Recorded between 2018-2024 in the artist's Brighton studio, this collection serves as a farewell to both a creative space and community that profoundly shaped Caldera's artistic journey.

The album captures the organic essence of Caldera's studio environment and features a notable collaboration with @queniv, developed remotely during the 2021 lockdown. This release also coincides with the label's evolution from Dans le Desert to Dans Records, reflecting its continued commitment to innovative electronic music.

Since 2012, Caldera has established a distinctive voice in electronic music, blending techno and bass with meticulous sound design. His work appears on respected imprints including Nummer Music (Berlin), Kimochi Sound (Chicago), and Pressure Dome (Bristol), while his Loop LF project features regularly on London's Well Street Records.

Dans Records (fka Dans le Desert) is an independent label run by Tomasz K Zajac (Cafe de la Jungle), dedicated to supporting adventurous electronics.
