We're quite excited to present a new concept to you. Welcome to the first edition of Garden Talks. 

It's a part podcast, part interview concept, on which we'll host artists from Agos. Maria and I are always looking at ways to create new interesting content for the label and we're quite excited to see where this journey will take us!

For our first talk, we met with https://soundcloud.com/kontinum (Jonas Wernicke). He's an artist with a distinct sound that we love. His EP Fallow Mind left quite an impression on many people. Our fruitful collaboration doesn't end there, as he'll be back on Agos with another exceptional EP soon.

Figure is excited to welcome IGLO to the roster, a promising new talent in techno. With a background in classical music, IGLO began his journey with the renowned Thomanerchor Leipzig before moving on to play guitar in bands. His diverse musical experience informs his unique approach to techno, merging classical influences with modern electronic production. On his debut EP for Figure, IGLO presents a collection of tracks that showcase his skill in blending solid rhythms, deep atmospheres, and rich textures. The opening track, Neverplace, introduces the EP with dubby chords and rave-inspired vocals, setting a late-night tone with emotional depth. Recovery follows, featuring a groovy bassline and a spoken word sample that enhances the track’s immersive feel. In Tell Me Everything, IGLO moves into snappier rhythms, with looping elements and a distant vocal that adds a mysterious edge. Introspection stands apart with IGLO’s own singing voice, paired with analogue rhythms that create a smooth, reflective flow while maintaining steady momentum. The two digital bonus tracks, Dispersity and Solitude, close the EP with steady, rumbling beats and tight rhythms, keeping the energy grounded and focused while engaging the dancefloor. IGLO’s debut on Figure reflects his ability to merge emotional depth with forward-thinking techno, marking a strong start for this exciting new artist.

Promising label newcomer IGLO returns to Figure with his second EP this year, building on a distinct sonic identity shaped by a background in classical music and live performance. Across five tracks, he further refines his mix of atmospheric depth, precise rhythms, and melodic nuance.
This time, his own voice takes on a more central role, adding a personal and expressive layer to the productions. On opener Computed Love, restrained, longing vocals blend into squelchy synths and minimal grooves - hauntingly beautiful, yet gritty with rumbling machine funk. Determined follows with a more menacing tone, its sharp percussion cutting through a bleak, shadowy atmosphere - perfect for building tension on the floor.
On the flip, IGLO switches up the mood: Enter the State runs on hypnotic loops and chopped-up piano riffs, peppered with cheeky, spoken-word style vocals that nod to ghetto house traditions. It breaks into an irresistible, swinging groove that hits with full force.
Offering a smooth counterpoint, Enlighten drifts into dubby terrain. Soft, ricocheting vocal snippets and warm chords conjure a hopeful, human glow - a bouncy balm for the soul, without losing its forward momentum.
Digital bonus track Find Yourself closes the EP on a spacious, almost sci-fi note - twinkling synths and airy melodies float above crisp textures, like a breath of fresh air at the end of a long night.With X49, IGLO deepens his connection with Figure and sharpens his unique voice - equally grounded in introspection and dancefloor impact, continuing to shape a sound that's thoughtful, bold, and marks him as one to watch.

PREMIERE: IGLO - Computed Love [Figure X49]

After a short break, we are returning with a new episode of the Harmony Rec. podcast series. Today, we have the honour to finally introduce an artist who has been on our radar for a while. 

Konduku aka Ruben Üvez is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, originally from the Netherlands. Starting his career by releasing a well-received debut LP - "Kiran," Konduku quickly got recognition among the listeners. Since then, Ruben has been a part of several impressive music projects. His work has been released on record labels such as Delsin, IDO and Idle Hands, proving Konduku as a natural talent. Producing is not the only thing that keeps Ruben busy.  His DJ CV includes a variety of prominent European clubs beginning with De School and ending with Berlin's about blank. 

The set itself describes Konduku in detail. Excellent mixing skills accompany the unique music style that we would describe as groovy and organic. The transition from summer to autumn is often uneven. Still, we believe that Konduku's set will make it softer for you. Enjoy.
