On ‘Dystopian Odyssey’, the upcoming EP on French label Skryptöm, the duo SRAMAANA take us on the first chapter of their audiovisual series.

A dreadful odyssey through a world on the brink of agony starts for our two modern day travelers, seeking new horizons. Over there... space and time do not matter any more. It's not all about Berlin, there is also some great music coming out of the rest Germany. Upcoming artist Name_Less is based in Düsseldorf and promisses to break the current codes of techno: his infusion of house pads and vocals into the groove is reminiscent of a period where the two genres could meet within a set, or even a track. The revival of Hardgroove is also about this: bringing the soul back into these 4x4 beats. This "Ritual Groove" EP does it extremely well with a Chicago energy and dub bass-lines that deliver a gorgeous nostalgic feel. 

On the B Side, TRACKSÜIT90 and DJ SUN put a spin on it. Glasgow producer TRACKSÜIT90 remixes the title track with an absurdly powerful angle, taking the tribal drums and vocals for a ride. This is Hardgroove meets Power House at its best. Finally, we needed some actual techno to round this off, and DJ SUN does not disappoint: layering stabbing voices and electrifying textured the Swiss artist delivers a minimalistic and superbly deep rework of "Hit Em".
