30drop returns to 30D after more than a year of his collaboration with Speedy J for the label. Again, an EP much more focused on dancefloor techno than on the Sci-fi sound.
Four tracks where the distortion and feedback from analogue pedals is the common denominator, although the dark and melancholic atmospheres (the true 30drop's sign of identity) and the groove, hypnotism and forcefulness (essential for the clubbing use) are present.

Billy Spike Iland breeds a deep sense of knowledge and maturity beyond what you'd expect for an artist of his age. His ear for infectious rhythm derives from a variety of genres, but always being drawn to the relentless energy felt in the faster tempos. These influences can be heard throughout his productions and selections as a DJ.

2021 saw the Irish DJ/producer leaving a strong impression on his first digital EP on Mexican label CommonSense Records which consists of a variety of deep, atmospheric, mental, trippy and driving techno under the “Access Automation” EP.

On the road Billy has made regular appearances at clubs across europe including London's sunday after-hours club Jaded, Festival Forte, Outflight Glasgow and Anomalie Berlin.

The future is bright for this young 23 year old and we look forward to following his journey.

On its 46th release, MindTrip welcomes two substantial artists from Sweden on a collaborative 4-track EP. Matthias Fridell and Alexander Johansson are standalone producers but their common ideas and vision brought them together on various shared releases in the last couple of years. The two combined push their boundaries while squeezing their 909 sounds and short synth loops with a clear '90s flavor. Here's what they say about their ''Datamaskin'':
''The tracks came together based on the limitation to use only a Dreadbox Erebus synth as the main element for playing sequences, and building drums, assisting synths & rhythmic patterns around those sequences.
Since the Erebus is fully analog with no way of saving your patches, the limitations placed on you force you to come up with ideas and create something during that current session and capture it. That's the core and foundation of the tracks residing on this release.
The only time post-editing was used was for "Debil" where some hi-hats were added afterward.''
