Don Weber is an exciting young talent working his way through the ranks, with DJ support for his music coming from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini, Luigi Madonna, Spartaque and Paco Osuna.

Already he has had tracks chart inside the techno section of Beatport’s Top 100, and this is another EP that showcases his exceptional talent for unmistakable riffs and explosive percussion.

The EP opens with the hypnotic vocals of “No Excuse” that has old school chord stabs and thumping percussion at the heart of its full throttle groove. Next up is the pounding kick drum and bleeping euphoria of “Exstasy”, before the final track “Get up” finishes the release with a bang.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Mark Greene’s “Nineteen ninety what?”: The audio equivalent of a Global Hypercolour T-shirt and a whistle on a string! 90s tropes like ravey stabs and acid lines are here in abundance, expertly woven into a fresh, contemporary techno framework. Steve Mulder dials back the mayhem slightly on the remix, with a classy, considered interpretation. “Let the Mask Slip” completes the package with moody arpeggios and pitch-dropped vocals.

Kill Ref Low Frequencies aka KR/LF Records is a techno label from Italy launched in 2016. Headed up by label boss Kill Ref, the catalogue lists music from producers such as Developer, Charlton, Endlec and more. The spine tingling compilation released this month curates 24 tracks from a sensational line-up of talent including artists already featured on the imprint, alongside new blood like Oliver Deutschmann, Ben Gibson, Patrik Skoog, Housemeister, Progression (UK) to name only a few.

Pulling together such a strong cast can only result in a mouth watering proposition, and of course, we are not disappointed. Variety that moves between techno and electro, Saturn Phases shows how a perfect combination of ambition and focus results in something magical… where tough, gritty, analogue beats appear in many forms with industrial flavours, to hypnotic trips.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is from the Berlin based Lithuanian Under Black Helmet who has been turning many heads of late on Code is Law and Bas Mooy’s Mord. His track “Perpetrate” is an audio onslaught of power and precision. An instant classic, it uses a maniacal rolling lead over a pounding beat that is ferocious and driving with a single purpose to be a DJ’s secret weapon.

Oliver Deutschmann is not only a regular DJ at Berghain and many other of the world's leading underground venues, he clearly spends a lot of time in the studio.

As a result, he's one of our scene's most prolific producers and can look back at a huge catalogue on labels like Mote Evolver, Hotflush and many more.

Oliver's also been a longtime friend of OFF Recordings, and now present his debut EP on our label.

The two originals are captivating pieces of minimalistic techno, stripped back drums meet memorable synth themes, to create two timeless pieces of quality techno.

With Opal and Jamaica Suk we have 2 of Berlin's most promising emerging DJ-producers on remix duties.

Opal is a regular not only in legendary clubs like Khidi and Griessmühle, but also recently released a killer EP on Regal's Involve Records.

Jamaica Suk is a resident at Berlin's infamous Pornceptual series, and plays all over europe and beyond, including some of the world's leading clubs and festivals like MELT, Tresor, and many others.

Both their remixes transform Plant Division into harder forms, perfect for the peaktimes.

Luciid, AKA Luke Pollock, has been steadily releasing some highly competent techno sounds from his Northern Ireland homestead for a while now, impressing on releases for Sleepless Recordings and Tlaloc Records with his wall shaking club tunes.  He debuts for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains here, backed with a remix from Melody’s Enemy.

‘Hardcore Happiness’ wears it’s rave influences on its sleeve, from the rattling breakbeat to the hardcore stabs, all underpinned with a thunderous kick drum, techno tracks don’t come bigger than this!

Regular Kneaded Pains collaborators, Melody’s Enemy, unleash an equally potent remix.  Following on from recent releases on We Are The Brave and Of Unsound Mind, the duo deliver a compelling remix here.
