Markantonio's record label AnalyticTrail presents the second release in its Black Series.

The release is a three track EP from UK artist Drumsauw whose known for his previous releases on imprints such as Planet Rhythm, Orange Recordings, Reload and Unity Records.

Based in the city of Plymouth, Joseph Sutherland aka Drumsauw has been releasing techno since 2017, and has built up a reputation for having an unrelenting style that’s both dark and hypnotic.

Drumsauw tracks have featured in Beatport’s techno charts on numerous occasions, and he is also an accomplished DJ who is well-known in southwest England’s thriving club scene.

Each of the tracks has ferocious energy and sinister atmosphere at the heart of its groove.

“The Voice” opens the release with thrashing percussion and fast-paced rhythms that are overlaid with chopped vocals. “Without” has a rolling groove with rumbling sub bass and old school melody stabs. “Hitcher” closes the release with its frantic energy and modulating synth line that combine with hard-hitting percussion.

Following a successful debut on Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail, Soko & Sev returns to the imprint with another anticipated pack of gems titled Spirits Await.

The Serbian/Romanian duo Marko & Antonio AKA Soko & Sev have managed to establish their project in the techno scene with releases on imprints like Say What?, Kraftek, Set About, Codex Recordings and AUTEKTONE and gained huge support and respect since their establishment two years ago from the leading techno artists of the scene such as: Boris Brejcha, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, ANNA, Oliver Huntemann and many more.

Spirits Await is the perfect follow up release from Soko & Sev to their Release Perception Of Reality. Three Peak Time tracks with a dark theme sound signature, groovy percussions and emotional choir vocals.

Next up on Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail is a remix from Don Weber for Mha Iri’s hard hitting track Burn Steadily.

Mha Iri is definetly one of the artists that impress the Techno scene right now, known for her charismatic blend of high energy percussion shrouded in shadowy atmosphere. She has been releasing on other respected labels such as UMEK’s 1605, Orange Recordings, Respekt Recordings to name few.

Don Weber on the other hand never disappoints with his music on AnalyticTrail who’s become a familiar on the imprint, now with his remix which brought a new dimension of aggressiveness, power and explosive percussion to the track that made a huge success last year.

Italy’s Sisko Electrofanatik has started to become a regular feature inside the sales charts of Beatport’s techno section. Known for his own label Gain Records, he has also featured music on other imprints such as Codex, OFF Recordings, Say What?, Fe Chrome and We Are The Brave.

This is the fourth time Sisko Electrofanatik has featured on an AnalyticTrail release, and it’s the much anticipated follow up to his collaboration with Stiv Hey tilted “Contradiction”, which was one of the label’s best-selling tracks of 2021.

Hanubis is another AnalyticTrail favourite, whose been a regular on the label in addition to featuring tracks on other imprints such as Suara.

The original mix of “My Realm” opens the release with punishing percussion and the fiery lyrics of a timeless vocal sample. Its relentless energy is propelled by ominous sub-bass and high velocity rhythms. There is also an “Instrumental” and vocal heavy “DJ Tool” version for those looking for either more or less of the sample. Hanubis lifts the tempo with his industrial edged remix, which takes no prisoners with its heart pounding intensity.

PREMIERE: Sisko Electrofanatik - My Realm (Original Mix) [Analytictrail]

Markantonio makes a return to his label AnalyticTrail with a release that features the label owner's original music alongside a remix by Metodi Hristov.

One of Italy's most respected techno artists, Markantonio is one of the people who helped kick start the country's club scene in the '90s. With a career that spans over two decades, Markantonio has travelled the world as a headline DJ, and released tracks on labels ranging from Second State and Drumcode to Mindshake.

Metodi Hristov is at the forefront of Bulgaria's club scene, and is known globally for his distinctive style that blends powerful synth lines with hypnotic percussion and dark atmospherics. Label owner of Set About, he has also released music on other scene leading imprints such as Terminal M, Octopus and Filth On Acid.

The solo original track on this release titled "The Light" is a gritty techno track built around a pulsating acid bassline and thrashing high-end percussion. Dark and intense it's an unrelenting cut with a peak time energy and industrial elements.

Stepping up on remix duty, Metodi Hristov’s rework of The Light is a smoother version that swaps the gritty industrial elements for dystopian synths and a new bassline. Losing none of the fast-paced energy, this tantalising version adds a twisted euphoria while also making use of the original's trippy vocal sample.
