Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! And if youll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, wed love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. Just like last years, were teaming up with our good friends from Tanzgemeinschaft, with Strange Town Recordings from Canada joining us on Friday. Across two days, well feature 16 international artists performing from 18:00 until 02:00 on both days at The Flying Dutchman (located opposite Amsterdam Central Station). AnalyticTrail welcomes a new EP from Spanish artist Mikel Gil who previously featured a solo track on the imprint as part of a VA released in January of 2020.

This time Mikel Gil is back with a solo EP including three original tracks in the same dark and driving style he has featured on other labels such as Steve Mulder's Orange Recordings.

“Physical Sense” opens the release with its pounding kick drum and ominous vocal fused with explosive bursts from the grinding bassline before the acid, lead synth takes control.

Track two “Reflexion” has a sinister euphoria that ramps up the tension amidst the shadowy atmosphere and hard-hitting percussion.

Closing the EP is the hypnotic groove of “Escape” with a stripped back style that is perfect for mesmerising the dance floor with its trippy vocals.

Based in Italy, Don Weber is an exciting young talent whose tracks often find their way into Beatport’s Top 100 Techno Chart with the help of DJ support from many of the genres top club spinners.

Known for having a dark style with spacious atmosphere, pounding percussion and powerful synth lines, this three track EP is another fine example of his exceptional talent.

"Autopsy" opens the release with an intense synth riff that ripples and modulates over a hard-hitting kick drum and thrashing percussion. “Hyperion” is another high velocity cut that combines acid-tinged synths and punishing clap rhythms to cause maximum dancefloor impact. “Infection” closes the release in style by fusing sub heavy bass stabs with enticing vocals and explosive energy.
