22-year-old music producer Josh Richards was born in Melbourne, Australia and
lived in several countries by the age of twelve, before settling into the hinterland of
Byron Bay, New South Wales. With skating, photography, filmmaking and music all a central part of life since the beginning, Josh has always had a tendency to dive very deep into interests, accelerating growth through borderline obsession.
“When I was first introduced to electronic music, I fell in love with the energy and I
was taken with the idea that one person could create a whole song, with sound as big as an orchestra, with nothing more than a laptop and a pair of headphones.”
Influenced by pioneering artists in the Berlin techno scene, Josh’s music has been
described as Melodic Techno / Progressive House with a raw and organic tribal
groove that contrasts sawing synth sounds and impactful bass stabs, often held
together with soft and haunting background vocals.
The ultimate intention of the work? “I want to take people on a real journey with my music. To tell a story with feeling... And I want to make people dance.”

Release Info: 
Six years after the creation of their label Diversions Music, two bonafide legends in OXIA and Nicolas Masseyeff have decided to have remixes of one of the iconic tracks from the label's first release. "Connivence" is therefore remixed by their friends, talented artists Kiko, Black Circle, and Super Flu.

First up, goes the Rework of the original which is deep by layering in some dumpy drums and glitchy percussive sounds. Sweeping chords and the melody bring grand scale and a sense of melancholy.

The Super Flu Remix is then more driven, with a powerful kick adding the energy down low, as crisp hits and edgy melodies unfold in the space above. They cast a magic late night spell over the dance floor.

The Kiko Remix is a slick bit of melodic techno with slapping hits and nice textural percussion. It locks you in and then brings dark cosmic energy in the well designed chords and melodies.

Last of all, Black Circle absolutely delivers on this by stretching the record out in all directions, mixing luscious pianos and dreamy pads which transport the listener to a state of bliss.

These are four fantastic remixes of a still classic original.

Based in Berlin the Mundos Sutis duo first emerged in 2020 and were quickly distinguished for their melodic, soulful and cosmic sound signature. With their first release coming courtesy of Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas, the duo would find a comfortable home on the Spanish imprint, going on to appear on the label ten times across a prolific eighteen month stretch. Top tier DJ support soon followed with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Tim Green all taking a liking to the duo’s charming sounds. Now continuing on that upwards trajectory, Mundos Sutis add Sound Avenue to their resume with their three-track EP "Supernova".
