taking some time to explore some older tracks from a few SC artists I admire, and so glad I found this! OMG what a soulful and groovy song. Those vocals are delivered with such evocative conviction. Reminds me so much of Portishead, which I love.  (sorry if I might have made that comparison before). LOVE this!!

Song written because of an observation I made of so many grandparents raising young children. Originally written for a friend to sing in the vein of John Mellencamp. He had done an excellent version of one of Mellencamp's songs.

Sadley, my singer friend got sick and passed away.
