The music of Hosoo Transmongolia gives nature a voice 

Mongolia. The steppe country in Central Asia stands for unspoiled nature, nomadic life, yurts made of felt, the seemingly endless expanse of the steppe, the Gobi Desert, the Altai Mountains. 

The wind blows, hoofbeats resound and the steppe awakes 

The degree to which the wandering nomads, their herds of sheep, the horses and camels, the winds and clouds, the mountains and grass are bound with music and song is shown by Hosoo Transmongolia - a musical journey to the immensely vast grassland where people and camels weep together. 

In the course of the centuries khoomei developed from the inner love of nature of the nomads in Mongolia. The animals, particularly camels and horses, the rivers and mountains, the winds of the steppes and deserts are sung about and imitated by khoomei singers. The result is true singing with and in nature.
