What happens when a former metal drummer discovers multi-genre DJing? We’re all about to find out, and so is he. 

Launched in 2024 after half a lifetime as a recording engineer and touring metalhead, Auraboros (aka Chris Taylor) is in the midst of an artistic evolution, pivoting from headbanging to ecstatic dance, and from Warped Tour to regional Burning Man events, kirtans and Tantra festivals.

Weaving organica and tribal downtempo into deep and Latin house and beyond, his sets take you far from where they begin, through wide ranging tempos and vibes to land somewhere different yet familiar, just like his own life’s journey. 

Add live percussion and guest musicians, and the result is a möbius strip of sonic adventuring akin to the proverbial snake eating its own tail.

Imallom started playing with synths and drum machines until he realized that his destination was to select tracks and share his good vibes.
In love with bassline and rave parties, his djsets are always full of energy.
Always in search of new vibrations, he began to explore different sounds, immersed himself in the Latin sounds of the electro cumbia, digital cumbia and various electronic productions from South America.
The evolution continues with the assimilation of bpm and the energy of downtempo and ethno music.
He never despises faster djsets, returning to the roots, in which he puts all the good vibes he has to make even the heaviest asses move !!!

Martin, aka DJ Merlin the Alchemist, loves facilitating Ecstatic Dance Journeys. His special ingredient is creating a sacred space for transformation. Furthermore, he adds spoken invocations, supportive live instruments, and his alien voice. Whenever possible, he closes the dance with a live Gong Sound Journey. Years ago, he started with sound healing facilitation and, over time, also added Ecstatic Dance as a powerful modality. With all his experience from the former, he learned that holding space is his most crucial ingredient. We can only drop out of the mind and into ecstasy when we feel safe. Thus, he values all guidelines for ecstatic dance. No drugs, no shoes, no talking, no phones, and deep respect for everyone else are a time-tested recipe for unforgettable and embodied Ecstatic Dance journeys.
