Uplifting and soaring emotion.  It’s delicate and luminous piano composition.

So good to hear this a few more times and I forgot to repost, something I do alot old brain cell, so put that right. I know Im a bit odd but I prefer the sadness of the piano on its own to the drama that the Orchestration brings on the newer version. I dont think this can be improved upon, your piano work stirs the soul.

The dark invests the storm with terror in new forms

More synthrock, but this time with a somewhat dirtier sound. All instruments except the drums are created on the Nord Stage 3. Played a little with feedback, as well as changed the attack on the main rhythmic synth live as I was playing. The lyrics are once again a mix of science and emotion using a black hole as a metaphor for a toxic relationship - seems to be a style that works for me.

Music that tells the tale of a river of people stretching out behind me, to another land and another life; a land scarred by cruelty and an existence no better than slavery back in the time of The Great Hunger.

The lady pictured on the cover artwork is my Great Grandmother Bridget Wynne, born just after the worst of the Great Hunger had passed, and who, like millions of others, left her home for a better life. I’m not all that sure she found it. Although her family somehow survived the worst, Bridget remained small -  somewhere around 4 feet 6 inches (1.37m) - and bird-like for her entire life.

She is the only one of my older Irish relatives of whom I have a photograph .
