Analog improv session.

The recording starts distant and ethereal, but eventually takes on an anxious character. One segment has tones that sounded like a sort of heavy, labored breathing.

Nazgul

This track opens softly, with a slowly rising tension that builds into an aggressive percussive rhythm. The storm eventually subsides, making way for a flood of reverb to drown the stage.

Recorded with a Moog Subharmonicon and DFAM. This was my first real attempt at writing the progression of the session prior to recording. This has been a struggle for me with the modular synthesizers, since you have to take a lot of notes to make sure you don't lose your initial patch!
