Please take this compilation as a perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau somewhere in the future.

Ein untypisches Weihnachtsfest

Die Weihnachtszeit hat heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Das Fest ist in diesem Jahr definitiv ganz anders, als es sonst so war. Der Kreis wird auf die engsten Familienmitglieder beschränkt und innerhalb der heimischen Vierwände, sich beschenkt. So manche Tradition wird diese Weihnachten gebrochen, so haben die Kirchen und Gebetshäuser kollektiv geschlossen. Vieles läuft an diesem Heiligabend ungewöhnlich ab, doch so manches bleibt auch altvertraut. Geschenke laden unterm Baum, und auf den Weihnachtsumtrunk verzichten die Meisten, wohl kaum. Es wird gut gegessen und viel gelacht, irgendwie wird aus eigenartig, dann doch passend gemacht. Man nennt Weihnachten nicht umsonst Zeit der Besinnlichkeit, also lasst uns dankbar sein für Familie, Freunde, Wohlstand und Gesundheit.

Der heutige Podcast ist eine Weihnachts-Spezialausgabe bereitgestellt und gemixt von Käpt‘n 12 & Düsentrieb. Damit Euch in den Feiertagen nicht der akustische Sprit ausgeht, läuft die 185 satte 4 Stunden und 12 Minuten lang. Ein roter Faden schlängelt sich unverkennbar von Track zu Track. Crafting raw, hypnotic soundscapes through live improvisation, I shape my music using analog synths, MIDI expression, and evolving loops. Each track is a moment captured—built in real time, always in motion. Rooted in dark minimalism and experimental energy, my sound thrives on contrast: deep and driving, yet fluid and unpredictable.

I work from a self-built, upcycled studio—created piece by piece with reclaimed materials, echoing my approach to sound: building something new from what already exists. Field recordings, analog textures, and intuition guide me. I don’t polish things to perfection—I let the edges stay rough, organic, alive.

My music explores the spaces between reflection and movement. Mindset blends beauty with unease, weaving deep textures and minimal rhythms into a dreamlike but unsettling atmosphere. Electronic Chant, born from a day in the forest, channels that same tension between nature and machine—ambient layers meeting organic techno pulses and vocal fragments. Both tracks reflect an ongoing journey toward immersive, emotional listening experiences.

This isn’t background music. It’s music for falling into—cinematic, meditative, raw. As Anca, I’m not here to follow trends. I’m here to build sonic worlds that breathe and move on their own.
