This mix bring joy and happiness in the heart , it feels like travelling on a sweet flying carpet around grooves and ethnies . I so gratefull to can share it with you today . This set was played during a beautiful celebration at Azula in Alentejo, Portugal .

Azula is a place, a project and the home of a family that share the vision, to raise their children in a beautiful safe environment and to cultivate their land and themselves to enjoy life fully.
Located on the south west coast of Portugal, only a 20 minutes drive to the beach, They aim to transform this previously grazed land into an abundant garden and forest, where we as humans and nature itself can thrive.

Ecsatic Dance is a different party concept where people are encouraged to dance free of judgment (including self-judgment), without cell phones, without drugs (including alcohol) and without communicating verbally. And this brings a presence and joy to people's faces that no substance can.
I'm going to call this ANCESTRAL DANCE, because for me it’s always like a ritual. This set here is a mixture of many references, to tell a story of who I am.

This mix was mid-wifed in Virgo Season 2024, during the invitation to play a stunning private Urban Medicine Temple Celebration—Funky Funghata—celebrating the marvelous life and path of my beloved sister & inter-galactic healing-artist Revati (from @slowing):  this ceremonial gathering was both a magnificent celebration of life and relationships woven over years & years, and also an anchoring in of cosmic frequencies, so deeply needed in the middle of such potent urban landscapes. 

Bowing to all of the spirits that helped to mid-wife this Temple, gratitude that the sacred is infused EVERYWHERE, when we shift our perspective to feel and receive it's mirroring...May the frequencies of the music and prayers ripple outwards, into this world-in-transition:  We are the medicine 💎

Soooooo MUCH LOVE to the dancefloor who nourished what became of this set. The collective vibe from the dancefloor makes what's found in this live recording impossible to reproduce in a studio!
