Tel Aviv super group @megaphonim are bringing their off-kilter energy to Feines Tier in form of their new „Namal Ashdod“ EP with four original tracks and hell of a @simple-symmetry remix. Even though they’re all quite unique on their own, what unites the tracks is the combination of raw beats and vocals with an oddly catchy pop approach to the writing of the music. Be it in the aptly titled „After of Disaster“ with its let-loose energy, the slow-rolling „Lo Titfos Oti“, which could have been picked from an Andrew Weatherall (RIP) dj-set, or the title track with its break-beats and its unforeseeable left-turns, there’s always this playful and off-the-wall energy keeping the ball going and bouncing. And let’s not forget about the remix! Endlessly rising duo Simple Symmetry do what they have become known for very well here: Deliver an insanely groovy and relentless weapon of a track, guaranteed to blow the roof of every club, festival floor or after, however disastrous it might be. Before you can remember anything you are about to say to me I will tell you it's time for a second round! Why even bother searching for questions if ANCIENT FUTURE already has the answers to them? Delivered again in the form of four tracks by four different artists, this is number two!

Is there a difference between eternity and nothingness? ALMA & MATER trace that disparity on first track "Forever Never", and could not be more haunting in the way they do it. Their search is fueled by raw 808 power and inducing saw-tooth synths, so you better watch for your shoes, for you could've already lost'em dancing too hard. Next track "Time Zone Adjustment" makes it all too easy for you to just keep on going, manufactured by the 106ERs, a tag team of future bois Philipp Fein & Johannes Klingebiel. As you probably will have already lost your sense of time, readjustments of your local time zone won't bother you anyway... Flip to the f-side and RHYTCH will take you to another place, although his "Lenoir" might not exactly be what they call reality. It's way too enigmatic for that, all you see is flickering lights and some weird machinery - but exciting, that's what it is! Find your way through the fog and enter the realms of "Okuruwo", reigned by the impeccable DREEMS & MAX SCHMITT. With a little help from their friend JOHANNES KLINGEBIEL they created this world of wonder, of jungles and oceans, of plains and deserts. There is more to find in here than you could possibly search for. But you will have all the time in the world.

Conga Fever, who already had a solo EP and a contribution to the “We’ll Sea” series on Mireia Records, impresses with music that sounds effortlessly thick and interwoven - surely achieved by playing all instruments himself and a keen ear on every frequency.

It can now be revealed. Anonymous internet supergroup Drugface is going public, unmasking themselves as Multi Culti audio-visionary Thomas Von Party and Montreal cult legend John Shape, who absorbed the life rights to the Beaver Sheppard Story in an online game of Russian Roulette. If you’re reading this, the Von Party element probably makes so much sense that you’ll never forgive yourself for not realizing it sooner. The vibes, the production; it was there the whole time.  Eagle-eared listeners may have ID’d Shape from his Ricardo Villalobos-produced remix pack on Sei Es Drum, or as the singer in German instrumental band Brandt Brauer Frick. Those who guessed both members are now on some kind of list.

“In the Clouds” is the latest single from the secretly prolific duo, a synaesthetic window into a realm where everything tastes like data and everything sounds like mushrooms. B-side “On the Prowl” is a collaboration with Multi Culti vitamin-shaman Dreems, with the results entrusted to Finnish synth-lord Jori Hulkkonen to ensure everything holds up 9,000 years from now. 

For the remixes, Simple Symmetry pull you through a wormhole to the sunny beaches of Moscow, The Beat Escape add massive doses of class and elegance. We tested these descriptions on 50 tastemaker chimps, and all 50 were still at least “somewhat jazzed” about hearing the tracks anyway.

And of course it goes without saying that Multi Culti is proud to present this.
