Mind | Matter is the main musical project of french artist Théo Ferretti. Born and raised in Paris, M|M aims to fuse his post-punk roots with shades of electronic body music, martial industrial and mystic techno rhythms. After making his place on the french industrial scene he joined RAW Agency and released on labels such as Detriti Records, Intervision, Forbidden Teachings, EGONlab, Crave Tapes & others. His sound can be described as a melt of darkness and poetry, an encounter between chaos and romanticism.

Desde su aparición, el proyecto ha sido a menudo etiquetado como “pitch black techno war funk“  (citado después de una reseña inicial de Boomkat) y estrechamente asociado a lo que más tarde sería etiquetado como el movimiento "tecno industrial". Esto posiblemente se deba a la estética radical de la máquina que Ancient Methods ha convertido en un sonido característico inconfundible desde hace más de una década. Aunque el marco mecánico sea -ni más ni menos- un embajador físico de un contenido más profundo, hay una profunda emocionalidad humana encerrada en la coraza rítmica.

Since its emergence the project the has been often labelled as “pitch black techno war funk“ (quoted after an early Boomkat review) and closely associated to what later on would be tagged as the “industrial techno“ movement. This is possibly due to the radical machine aesthetics Ancient Methods has developed into an unmistakable trademark sound, since more than a decade. However the mechanical framework is - no more, no less - a physical ambassador for a deeper content, there is a profound human emotionality enclosed in the rhythmic shell.

We are very pleased to welcome Rynzler as our 35th guest on the Kaos London podcast series.

Rynzler is an Italian DJ and producer who has made a name for himself with releases on notable labels such as Phage Tapes, Omen Recordings and Vumantra. His journey into music began in 2018 after spending several years deeply involved in the club scene. This exposure to various styles and sounds ignited his passion for music production, leading him to develop his own distinctive musical vision. His sound is a unique blend of industrial and EBM.
