Our next artist is based in Oslo but feeling at home on the road. She has always been extremly passionated about music and knew that she wanted to express herself through it. In January 2021 she published her first mix on her own channel, and that's when her musical odyssey really began. Since then she has played at New New Nordic Burn, Extra Delicious, Monument and is now booked to play in Mexico at Festval Ometeotl and MoDem this summer. 
Her mixes have been featured on  podcast series Dazedspoon (@herbatechno), @charybdis-records and @aura-productions1. Please welcome @capodanna

This time we have invited an artist who we already had the opportunity to host in our series of events. @raaroh has been active in the Polish deep techno scene for a few years now and has been consistently releasing music, his development is visible, which makes us very glad. 

The podcast itself perfectly shows Raroh's style - powerful, flowing basslines accompanied by atmospheric pads with characteristic trance sequences. Fans of his work will be satisfied :)

Known for his versatility and fearless approach, Martin crafts sets that dive deep into styles like house, techno, acid, tech, and trance. Whether leading listeners through deep, trippy realms or colorful, groove-filled adventures, his sound always leaves a lasting impression on the dance floor. Beyond DJing, Martin is a key figure in the Copenhagen electronic music scene, co-running the Axces Recordings label and Proton Records, a beloved vinyl store in the city.

Set the Mood with Diepzeebeest!

I am truly excited to have Diepzeebeest involved in this series. From the moment I first heard their sound, I was immediately captivated. Their latest release on Float is a perfect example of why they deserve this spot and why I believe everyone should hear their music.

Diepzeebeest loves to explore their inner experience, diving deep into uncomfortable feelings and capturing them in their productions. This process is often subconscious, unfolding while they record sounds from their hardware and software instruments. Turning these recordings into tracks then becomes more of a curation, where meaning is consciously discovered. When approaching the recording for Oefenmeesters Set The Mood, they envisioned it as an introduction to the introspective and driving techno they gravitate toward. The set hints at the depths to come while remaining inviting enough for listeners to ease in. As a final track, they chose a slight outlier—a last moment to surface and breathe before the next set takes the audience even deeper, eyes closed, letting go.

Diepzeebeest (they/them) is a producer and live artist from Rotterdam, exploring the depths of hypnotic techno with releases on Float, Immaterial Archives, and Dynamic Reflection, among others.

Time Travel

These tracks were all recorded during a live show in a former sauna. All music is recorded straight from the mixer onto SD card. Main voices come from Make Noise XPO and Mutable Instruments Plaits with some help from Arturia Microfreak and the great Roland TR-8S Drum machine. The orginal file was processed in ableton with slight EQ and compression. Other than that, the music represents, what happened in the sauna :)
