Growing up in the deep south of Germany with multi ethnic friends and big interest in many different music genres of the world, Borrowed Identity built his wide knowledge in music. This variety in his musical taste is also the reason why he is working under different aliases producing a big variety of sound from ambient to house to experimental music and everything inbetween. Borrowed Identity debut EP on Quintessentials is another great example for his multistyle approach to music. You’ll find elements of house, disco, techno, ambient and more – always with an imminent love for music. Borrowed Identity released his first 12” inc. a Mark E remix on Foul&Sunk last year. That was just the start of an impressive career we dare to say. Borrowed Identity is a music freak and works very fast on tracks. Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts, Traveller Records (Finland), the Legendary Sound Research, Stripped & Chewed (Chicago), Catz N Dogz Pets Recordings and soon Mistress all released some splendid Borrowed Identity tunes. And we do the same!

Hello Houselovers!

Here we are with our "avant-dernier" release of the year. It's been a wonderful year for us and we are ending it in style.
We have 2 raw tracks by the Australian producer @kidonly. Kicks so hard they bang like fireworks. And basses rolling like thunder.
On the remix we are proud to announce @soledrifter (Large Music, Simma, King Street, ...) we really dig his style and we are not the only ones. He has been soaring through the deep house charts like a shooting star in the sky. 
And as a second remix, an extra cherry on the cake, we have @dosbanditos, the belgian duo consisting of Le Babar and Frederick Alonso. 
So to wrap it up, we have one release after this to wrap up the year before we take a little Christmas break and continue with some more eargasm-inducing deep house in 2018!

French Duo Dub Striker make their debut on Happiness Therapy with a solid 5 track EP backed by a remix by Chicago based House producer and Smart Bar resident Garrett David.

Dub Striker reignite the French House scene on their latest release with their raw sound influenced by artist like Gerd, Milton Jackson and Fabio Monesi. The opening track to the Birds Of A Feather EP, Wild Rhythm, showcases the duo’s diverse style with this tropical infused track featuring tribal rhythms, light and airy chords and bright melodics. A refreshing opening track that transports you to another place. The following track is Mood Pt. 2, a raw loungey house track with Icey high hats, a punchy kick drum and hypnotic chord sequences.

Opening on the flip side of the EP is, Computer Games, with a change of pace from the A side with its pulsating kick drum, floating bassline and spacey chords and melodies. ‘Would You ?’ follows, again showcasing the duos diverse style with this Jazzed up house track with its rhythmic raw percussions, classic house chord progressions, trippy vocals and dissonant synth stabs. Closing the ep is Garrett David’s take on Wild Rhythm, his interpretation takes you deep into the jungle with this upbeat percussion driven track, with its soothing bird calls, tropical melodies and enchanting chords.

Birds Of A Feather EP will be out on March 13th, 2020 available on digital and vinyl.

Next in line from the GLBDOM label is a tasty four track EP from Dutch artist HATT.D. This is a very accomplished EP from the wonderfully warm tones of vocal led opener I "Thought I Was Wrong", which has a smooth 90’s classic RnB feel to the vocal, through the Italian Dream House vibes of "Dreams Of Paradise" and the effusive broken beat of "That Feeling". The EP ends like the icing on the cake with a track called "Energy Transmission" which combines the analog and electronic end of the Deep House spectrum. Smooth synths, delicate keys and strong percussion all make this a delight of a track.
