Dexorcist was brought up on 80's Electro, Hip Hop and Miami Bass, graduating to Acid House, Bleeps, Techno and beyond. 

Heavily influenced by the legendary RIP parties at Clink street and other warehouse events around London's then shady east end wastelands.

During the early 90's he helped form the excellently named Fear Teachers sound system, which morphed through various incarnations including KDU, before ending up as the also brilliantly named Dead Silence Syndicate. 

An Electro producer with a long string of quality releases and remixes on labels such as Battle Trax, SMB, Fuel, not forgetting the label he co-ran with Keith Tenniswood; Control Tower. 

Some up and coming releases on Yellow Machines, Super Rhythm Trax, Libertine, M.U.S.A, Further Electronix & Cyber Domain.

RAT 22 Credit 00 & Wolf Müller - Funk The System

Funk The System! The recipe is simple: Dig deep, listen to your heart, record everything you got on a dusty old desktop computer, leave it to simmer for the time of a pandemic, and if it’s still fresh, serve it up on the finest plate of black wax!

This collaboration started in Düsseldorf in the year 2018. Locked up for a week in the Flanger Studios, Wolf Müller and Credit 00 recorded everything: from the jaw harp to smartphone apps, chopping up GDR Jazz breaks and squeezing the Funk out of every synthesizer and drum machine at hand. 

You will hear the open mindedness towards all sorts of musical influences from the first note. Each of the five tracks showcases a wild mix of flavours: Disco Reggae, B-Girl Breakbeats, Protest Folk, Subway Funk, Tabla Rhythms, you name it... they’ll take it and shake it! It is obvious these two got sonically socialized and educated by the multiculturalism of Hip-Hop in their early days.

After the first Recording Session, the tracks fermented for some time until they were cracked open again. This time in Leipzig at Credit 00’s Westend Workshop. That’s also where Rizmi from Birmingham joined the team and lent her voice to the title track. She reinterpreted the lyrics of the obscure German 1980s Workers’  Rock Song, that Wolf digged out for the Intro Skit of „Funk The System“.

Introducing NICE002 "Shoreline Circuitry" EP, the second release from All Nice Records, featuring the Portuguese producer Lake Haze. This EP will take you on a journey through pulsating House tracks, driven by 707 toms and hypnotic acid lines. "Dune District" kicks off with uplifting house vibes, distorted pads, and infectious rhythms. "Voltage Vortex" follows, offering a chill house groove with a heavy Chicago-inspired bassline. On the B-side, "Shoreline Circuitry" delivers rhythmic intensity with 707 toms and obscure acid lines. Closing the EP is "Electribe Echoes," a mesmerising track showcasing Lake Haze's sound mastery. W133 welcomes Marteka Fair (@martekafair ) for her first appearance on the label. The North Carolina-based artist blesses us with four originals, which form the most meditative/ hypnotic Techno release on the label to date.
The EP starts off with an ambient piece, „Charlie’s Meditation“. Hypnotizing arps and panning drones lie under the repeated phrase, „You are alive.” Right afterward, we jump into Techno with „Daisies“. The fast-rolling groover is complemented with trippy violin picking by Chris Lock (@crl836748 ).
Next on the menu, we have the EP’s title track, „Ether“. Freaky laser shots and tripped-out synths randomly explode in your face and will certainly make you feel like you’re floating in some sort of vacuum.
The last tune, a nasty rumbler with metallic pipe-like sounds, is called „All You Zombies“. It pulls you into a vortex and releases you as a zombie indeed!
The release is accompanied by an artwork photograph by Philipp Roth and will be out on all digital platforms on 21.3.2025.
