Starting from 2006, Echolight formed by four young men from Bandung, Indonesia. This project is a deviceful place to meet our affection in music. Ever since the beginning, we composed our music and evolving as the time passes. Inspired by the flow of rock, shoegaze, post-punk and post-rock, the instrumental music becomes a form of submission and the interpretation of our life experiences. Echolight are Fariz Halim, Gega Darmawan, Fendy Gustya Suwardana and Dito Setiasa. We complement our music with different perspectives. These differences enrich the music and make specific traits for integrality of the band. We are part of certain independent music scene community and have performed in several major cities in Indonesia.

Echolight has officially released the first singles containing two tracks: “MAD (Maturity After Depression)” and “Glare of Glowing City” in 2009, those tracks are shaped rock-style instrumental, shoegaze and post-rock. The Singles can be downloaded for free and has been reached for more than 5000 downloads spreading throughout the world.

We have completed 11 tracks including 2 songs in the singles earlier to be documented in the first full length album. This album is a pack of stories of life impression and human nature, all wrapped up in one character we called Gianni Porto. This album will be released soon in 2013.

A Short Bio: 
Homicide is a Defunct hip-hop outfit from Bandung, Indonesia. Homicide is not only pioneering the real hiphop sounds in Bandung and maybe in Indonesia, they're also marked as one of the most significant groups Bandung ever produced. They combined street battle verses with political consciousness and punk rock ethics, backed with musics that deep rooted in the tradition of New York's jeep beats and avantguard's fearless noises. With influences ranging from Rakim to Marvin Gaye, Public Enemy to This Heat to The Last Poet to Crass and Neurosis, they're also known for their dedication in local activism and democratic grass root movement, no wonder if they're thightly connected to the local punk/HC scene and local resistance network as well. They didnt only save Indonesian hiphop scene from the bling-bling storm but also calling out an insurection during Suharto's regime. Being hated by zealouts from a number of organized religions they lived their words to the fullest (a bio taken from a Subciety Records' Press Release).

Note: 
The mini-album that was originally released as a demo, and then made a split with Balcony section titled "Hymne Penghitam Langit dan Prosa Tanpa Tuhan". 
Also released in cassette form in Malaysia and the United States under different independent labels.
