Love Will Set You Free
by Taymaz Valley

I am a stranger looking for that moment of clarity,
every nook and cranny, leaving no stone unturned,
for a moment so precious, no gold shall ever compare,
no diamond glistening will do, no silk smooth enough.

I’ve walked this earth without fear, from the farthest point,
from continent to continent, from country to country,
tasting every delight, rain from every sky drop by drop,
and yet never belonged, my soul never took that flight.

I’m bound to this body, failing to break through my skin,
touching your cheeks, tears roll down mine relentlessly,
because I realize I’m only touching myself, never penetrating,
I cannot selfishly feel you my dear, I cannot see what you see.

My thoughts can travel the galaxies, my imagination soaring,
but I know I shall never know the real truth, that limitless key,
that true simplicity, because I’m imprisoned in this mortal cage,
only to be released in the end, when the grim gatekeeper sets me free.

If this life is a journey, then you are the universe I seek,
and I can only promise to love you dearly, without hesitation,
without asking for anything in return, not even your devotion,
as knowing myself can only be through the love found in me.

Magellanic Penguin

Neither clown nor child nor black
nor white but vertical
and a questioning innocence
dressed in night and snow:
The mother smiles at the sailor,
the fisherman at the astronaut,
but the child child does not smile
when he looks at the bird child,
and from the disorderly ocean

I was without doubt the child bird
there in the cold Archipelagos
when it looked at me with its eyes,
with its ancient ocean eyes:
it had neither arms nor wings
but hard little oars
on its sides:
it was as old as the salt;
the age of moving water,
and it looked at me from its age:
since then I know I do not exist;
I am a worm in the sand.

the reasons for my respect
remained in the sand:
the religious bird
did not need to fly,
did not need to sing,
and through its form was visible
its wild soul bled salt:
as if a vein from the bitter sea
had been broken.

Penguin, static traveler,
deliberate priest of the cold,
I salute your vertical salt
and envy your plumed pride.

You are away in a dreamy land. 
An ocean of fears, tears, 
sands of time crash, us 
separates, me and you.

I put on my shoes, gloves shield, 
wear my raincoat, adjust my hat, 
put on my glasses tinted, shades, 
backpack with bread and memories.

I leave my home, doors left unlocked, 
I’m not coming back, I won’t be here, 
all possessions up for grabs, again 
my heart is all I need, all I ever.

I walk to road’s end, take the highway, 
walk a mile in mine and you’ll see 
heavens brought down to earth, 
for mortals like me, wait I assure you.

I reach the sea, promised horizon, 
the fishermen throw me a line, 
tortured souls recognise one another, 
grit and resolve on our face mapped.

One morning, as the seabirds sing, 
I see the coast, smell the beach, 
a lump in my throat, hair mid wind, 
light the hue of the skies at dawn.

On the hope street relieved, 
I walk up to your door and knock twice. 
It starts to rain, but my heart is warm; 
storms have passed, of that I’m sure.

This 5000 year old mantra is one of the most ancient sacred and powerful mantras to meditate upon that can assist you in transcending the experience of suffering...

Suitcase at hand, not expecting to see a friendly face.

Clutching my train ticket, holding on to the rails,
I said hello, meekly, unaware; all I could say was hello,
Watching that quiet smile find its way across your lips.

We were colossal once, giants, vast in scope.
Envy of all those we knew. Talk of the town.

The promises I made shall remain 
With me and in my core constantly 
Until that grim gatekeeper summons 
And rids me of the light that flickers 
Keeping the hope of that one day, 
When, where and the how that clings 
To my thoughts dictating my dreams, 
Hanging tattered, cracked and broken, 
Because life takes its toll with every step 
We take to escape helplessness of birth, 
Foolishly we want, and tell others to follow, 
And we go and proceed with greater risks, 
Even though we doubt, doubt, doubt 
Ourselves and others in this dark journey.

I drew a line in the sand, 
Built walls around myself 
Told others to do the same, 
Fences were made higher and yet

It's been awhile since I've been active here and I just want you to know that I miss and love you all dearly, and have every intention of getting back into the creative swing of recording. Not to me
The Unmoved Mover of philosophy
And absolute still sum of all that is,
The God whom I adore -- not this!
Nay, rather a great moving wave of bliss,
A surging torrent of dynamic love

As the glad river's life

So does that spiritual flood

The oppositions of the world among,
