This is to share my creations and discover yours.

Those sounds we put together and call ''music'' mean everything to me.
Regardless of the style, genre, or cultural ethnicity, 
All these kinds of sounds have always occupied a huge part of my time, attention and listening.

''Music'' has followed me and been a companion in the happiest and through some of the absolute worst moments of my life.

I have been taught in a way, by every composer, conductor and otherwise musicians, bands and performers I have admired and spent so much time listening to over the years. 

My biggest influence is Karl Heinz Stockhausen, for his textures and sonorities the experimental concept from which his creations and sounds came to life, for his approach to performing and the thoroughness of detailing and documenting his works.
 
I began creating and recording my own ambient-experimental soundscapes 10 years ago with the discovery of software synthesizers and Digital Audio workshops. 
Thanks to Soundcloud, I can now share worldwide what I do and take a plunge into this vast network of ''music''. 

I use mostly orchestral instruments, but also a vast combination of ethnic and modern instruments, including synthesizers.

I use all kinds of sacred chants, ethnic voices, choirs. 
I routinely route instruments to sound processing, where the effect is an instrument.
I often use various sound sources.

Tras cuatro años en el dique seco y bajo el mismo nombre pero en solitario, Cervan regresará a los escenarios para defender su primer trabajo largo.
“El extraordinario viaje en el tiempo del futuro” es un disco auto-producido en el que están volcadas  experiencias personales, cuentos, leyendas y fantasías que dan comienzo a una nueva fase en la carrera musical de Jorge Cervantes.
Un trabajo mucho más íntimo y personal que el anterior “MR Hyde”, que cuenta con una instrumentación más acústica que incluye ukeleles, pianos, guitarras españolas, guitarras acústicas, eléctricas u órganos. Todo compuesto, interpretado y grabado por el autor.
Después de una larga etapa como cantautor, Jorge Cervantes se embarcaba en el proyecto CERVAN (2013) acompañado de otros dos integrantes, conformando un trio que llegó a acumular varios triunfos a lo largo de su corta carrera, como llegar a la final del Mombasa Gin&music en 2014. En 2016 la banda se disuelve.
Esta vuelta a la música es su particular “viaje en el tiempo del futuro”. Cómo lo que antes parecía lejano, cómo todo lo que había que superar, aprender y aplicar está ahora en el presente coexistiendo con nosotros como si el futuro hubiera viajado en el tiempo hasta nuestros días. Ese devenir de los acontecimientos, ese luchar por lo que amas es el duro viaje del futuro para llegar hasta nosotros.

It was a rainy night
And the clouds wept from on high
The rain, the rain is falling
oh the rain is falling, as the fears of the past collide
Like the circles of times past confide
though we are under an angry sky
We are lovers bound together
In the shadow of the autumn weather
Holding back from sweet surrender
To love and all the  joy it brings
I feel the pain of another night without you by my side
these rain clouds will never subside
Till the strangers and the lovers
Take their refuge
In the shadow of the deluge
Washing all this heartache away
Till you return to me
Like the dawning of a brand new day
Look into your heart again
Let the feelings flow like the pouring rain
I know we can never be the same again
Though something's lost, there's something gained
Listen to the rhythms of the rain
Listen to the rhythms  of the rain
And your love can return and remain
