Planted a seed within the earth,
Little seed beneath the dirt,
Gave the seed just all it needs for eyes to see it reach the surface, 
Little seed was feeling perfect.
Wished for bees and trees to flirt with,
Never thought that mortal men would flock with steel in means to hurt it.
Life was breeze upon the leaves fresh air to breathe from all the earthlings,
Hug and squeeze and then retrieve the essence deep within its workings,
Cut its leaves and half its branches,
Thought it neat, ignored the damage,
But the feat the seed received just made it bleed and hard to manage.
But little seed had never lost hope, cope, soak in the neighborhood’s flow,
Tossed its pretty leaves in the breeze, can’t believe, but unseen all its roots had done nourished its soul.
Deep in the coal, with its roots in the gold, story untold, story unfolds,
Wind blows foes, and the woes take toll, on the seeds who hold just a little too close,
Whoa.
Breaking from the pressure, yes a death before dishonor, hurricanes for entertainment, conquer gales and somber water, horror, slaughter, watching seeds all getting murdered for a product, for the lumber, for the dollars, for the plywood, for the problems.
Little seed felt its death was coming,
Couldn’t run and couldn’t hide,
From the men who cut it,
Couldn’t run and couldn’t hide, 
From the droughts or flooding,
Dancing leaves beneath the sky,
Only feared one thing.
Nothing.
