Contrary to popular belief, and what your ears may tell you, the songs posted on this blog were not recorded by Fleet Foxes, but rather one dude who impersonates Fleet Foxes using overdubbing and lots of reverb.

These four Melbourne fellas have been playing together since 2009, and are making something of it in 2012. Having played a number of gigs around Melbourne under the name "Champagne Reggae", they have slowly been developing a strong fan base. They are recognised for their use of different genres, as well as a solid foundation of rhythm with added textures giving their tunes a more compelling and unique sound.

Angeles is the enigmatic project of Pluto Sotiropoulos, born of a Greek migrant family who jumped ship and settled in Australia in the 60’s. Pluto grew up in Sydney and much like his family, exists in a liminal space of story, dream and culture. Present with attention, Pluto crafts beautiful tragedies drawn from his interaction with the world, other humans and dream states. Backed live by his closest friends; Mitchell Sexty (guitar), Holly Conner (drums) and Nick Savvas (bass) who build another layer of depth and darkness into Pluto’s songs.

Northeast Party House are a 6 piece band from Melbourne, Australia. Since forming in Melbourne Australia in 2010 (and being ‘Unearthed’ by triple j that same year for their song Dusk), Northeast Party House have built a cult following thanks to their electrifying live shows, and songs combining the heady exhilaration of dance music with pop hooks and rock backbone.
