Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Detroit. Start playing drums at the age of nine both my brothers had band so there was always musical equipment in the basement. My mom was a marimbas and my dad was a band conductor. My brother Scott was in the rationales and sonic‘s rendezvous band. My brother David was in a band called the children and lightning and guardian angel, and my sister is a modern dancer who studied in New York City.
     Played the Montreal, Switzerland Jazz festival in 1979 on the Bill with weather report and Willie Bobo. I returned to the United States and joining forces with Wayne Kramer of the MC5 and Johnny thunders of the New York dolls and heartbreakers and Ron Cooke of Mitch Rider’s Detroit and sonic rendezvous band.
     I moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and recorded albums with King Ernest, Lester Butler, and 13 and Robert Lucas.  
I have backed such Blues luminaries as Roy Gaines Little,, Sammy Davis, Eddie Burns 
     I have just released my debut album entitled right on time and I’m looking forward to its release within the next month. Some special guest friends guitarist Albert Lee, and singer songwriter Marcy Levi are included on the LP as well as Rick Holmstrom, RJ Mischo maestro harmonist and guitarist Franck Goldwasser a.k.a. Paris Slim ￼￼
