“My journey with computers and synthesizers began at the exact same moment.” When I was six, my father gifted me a Yamaha PSS-680 for my birthday—ironically, that was the day I stepped into the digital sound world. My earliest musical training took place at the Yamaha Music Center, licensed under my first teacher, Kaya Sunar, where I learned the fundamentals of DAWs using Cakewalk on an Amiga 600. My teacher soon told my family that my ear had an extraordinary level of tonal analysis, something close to genius. Despite that, I pursued my formal education in science rather than music. I was accepted into Yıldız Technical University’s Sound Arts and Design Program, but chose not to attend—something I’ll admit I still regret. During my university years, I co-created an experimental electronic music project called Nouvolec with Ali Deniz Kardelen. It was raw, daring, and deeply exploratory. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft using Steinberg Cubase, FL Studio, and a wide range of VSTs, constantly pushing my production boundaries. n the realm of music, AI became not just a tool but a collaborator. It listens without bias, composes without fatigue, and transforms patterns of sound into emotional landscapes. From generating harmonies and sculpting textures to reimagining entire genres, AI now participates in the ancient human ritual of creation. It does not replace the artist — it amplifies the imagination, opening doors to dimensions of sound once unreachable by human hands alone. Music, once born solely from heart and soul, now flows also through circuits and code — a new duet between consciousness and computation.
