My first mix in the „Label Tribute Series“ is for Forestrip Music, a label founded by the acclaimed producer Dave Pad, one half of the renowned electronic music duo Volen Sentir. 

The label exudes an undeniable connection to nature through its music, and the artists featured on the label have a unique style that is not to be missed.

The music released by Forestrip Music is marked by a deep and rich bass, and a focus on texture over melody, creating a sound that is both captivating and powerful. The releases have a flow that is truly unparalleled, making them perfect for dancing and immersing yourself in the music.

I'd like to introduce you to the independent record label Shanti Radio, based in London, UK. I came across it while discovering Volen Sentir, who released music through this label.

Shanti Radio showcases a diverse array of artists from across the globe, including names such as Hosini, Lee Burridge, Amonita, DSF, M.O.S. and Lost Desert, just to name a few.

The label primarily focuses on deep house, with some recent releases in the organic house genre. The music is peaceful, sometimes melancholic, yet still suitable for the dance floor, as exemplified by Volen Sentir's releases for example.

In March 2020, RUVENZORI (RVNZ) was founded by Dmitry Pushkarev aka Izhevski, launching its first release on Beatport in May of the same year. 

This tribute celebrates the innovative sound of RUVENZORI, which is characterized by its uplifting melodies, groovy beats, and contributions from notable artists such as Tim Green, Deek That, Amonita, Volen Sentir, and of course founder Izhevski himself, just to name a few.

With a strong connection to nature reflected in its release artwork, RVNZ continues to inspire and captivate music lovers.

RUVENZORI

It is with great honor that I pay tribute to 'All Day I Dream', a record label founded by Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay in 2011. 

Beginning with rooftop parties in Brooklyn, the label has grown to throw renowned events in various locations around the world. Boasting a roster of notable artists, All Day I Dream consistently delivers high-quality productions.

As a fan since 2017, I have a special fondness for their productions from this time and before. This mix showcases the label's classic tracks that have garnered immense popularity, rather than their newest releases. 

You can expect to hear some of the most beloved and timeless music from ADID in this mix.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did while recording!

All Day I Dream

This is my tribute to Hoomidaas Records, a record label based in Los Angeles, which was founded by the talented producer Armen Miran. 

The name "Hoomidaas" is a stylized acronym for "who made us," paying homage to the past and to the idea that we are all connected to each other and to the universe.

One of the things that sets Hoomidaas Records apart is their massive compilations, such as "Hoom side of the Sun" and "Hoom side of the Moon," which frequently feature more than 20 artists on a single release. These compilations showcase the diversity and talent of the label's roster, which includes both up-and-coming artists and well-established names in the electronic music scene.

For this mix, I used tracks in the 123 bpm range to create a consistent flow that keep listeners engaged from start to finish. The selection includes some of my personal favorites from Hoomidaas Records, as well as tracks that showcase the label's unique sound and style.

Marce Doval, better known as MD (AR), is DJ and Producer hailing from BA, Argentina. He brings a passion for deep, organic and progressive sounds to the table.

Co-founder of Dublin based Deep, Organic and Progressive house collective, MAREAH, he has played as support DJ, at sell out shows, for some of the top names in the scene. Guy Manzur, Cid Inc, Mariano Mellino and Dublin born Gustin are the first of many to grace their decks. As well as that Marcelo has also been featured in supporting line ups with Sasha, John Digweed and AME. 

With his debut release coming on December 21st with Bekool Records, his approach to music and production is greatly influenced by organic and environmental sounds, and labels such as All Day I Dream and Shanti Radio Moscow acting as inspirational sources of reference.

With an expansive collection of tracks spanning various labels, JFR has set stages alight in Argentina’s top clubs.
His recent transition to Barcelona, Spain has seen him elevate European nightlife with his signature beats. 

The music industry has warmly embraced JFR’s evocative tunes. Known for his magnetic energy and compelling performances, he’s earned a devoted following. 

Additionally, JFR shares his expertise as an electronic music production instructor, helms Musique De Lune, and founded both his own label and the celebrated Secret Feelings radio series.

AMITABHA marks its fiftieth release with a four-tracker organic house EP called Airplane / Sky Colors. With releases on Modd’s Amulanga and Cafe de Anatolia, Russian producer Chuchelo makes his debut on the label with two original mixes, showcasing his composing talent for melodic sounds.
On the Remixes, we welcome the renowned organic house talents Domingo + and Loveclub from the United States, who get reunited to bring their deeper interpretation of ‘Airplane’.
A second remix of ‘Sky Colors’ is delivered by the talented Argentinian duo Larson (AR), who return to the label after their successful debut on the Deep & Natural, Vol.8 with ‘Rockyboo’.
Airplane / Sky Colors is out next February, 16th. Spread the Love! 🌙
