GRIFE & Albuquerque put their unique spin on a true deep house gem, delivering a fresh remix of Casualities, the beloved collaboration between Phonique and Erlend Øye. Originally released on Phonique’s 2007 album Good Idea, the track has stood the test of time with its understated groove and Øye’s unmistakable vocal presence - both melancholic and effortlessly cool. Now, Brazilian producers GRIFE and Albuquerque breathe new life into Casualities, transforming it into a hypnotic, cosmic house journey. GRIFE, known for their deep, atmospheric productions, and Albuquerque, a key figure in Brazil’s underground scene and resident of Warung Beach Club, combine their strengths to craft a remix that is both immersive and driving. Their version stretches the track into deep, rolling territory, with swirling pads, crisp percussion, and a pulsing groove that keeps the tension simmering. 

The release includes both this brand-new remix and the original, giving listeners a chance to rediscover Casualities in two distinct forms.

Fabio Andrés Quiroga V. A.K.A Andrew Q es un Dj bogotano nacido el 28 de Mayo de 1989 en la ciudad de Bogotá; desde muy temprana edad se sintió atraído por la música electrónica lo cual lo motivo a incursionar en la escena Dj a partir del año 2010, se formó como Dj profesional en Deejay Academy donde destaco por su técnica y conocimiento musical, lo cual le permitió ser uno de los instructores de dicha academia.

Sus sets están influenciados por la música House y tech-House tomando como base grandes artistas tales como Chus & Ceballos, Nic fanciulli, Mirco Caruso, Neverdogs, Hot Since 82, entre muchos otros, esto asegura que sus presentaciones estén cargadas de mucho Groove, acompañado de vocales junto con frecuencias cálidas y contundentes bajo su propio estilo, asegurando una experiencia musical única. Su trayectoria como Dj empieza con presentaciones en Tropical Cocktails a partir del año 2011 donde también tuvo su primera residencia en Casa Violeta durante un año, posteriormente se presentó como Dj invitado en varios clubes representativos de la escena electrónica capitalina como Shangai, Sonora 57, Pipeline, Opio Lounge, Mini Lounge cafe bar, BAR:BE, 360 Rooftop, Linch, District Music lab, Queen Victoria, Octava, D&G Martini Bar, Eclipse Club Chia, entre otros, por lo cual es considerado como un DJ con experiencia y con muy buena acogida en las pistas de baile.
