Thank you pops for.......

Buying me, as a combined 13th birthday and Christmas present,
a drum kit. Little did we know, the magical musical world that it would open up. A wonderful place that still excites and feeds my creative needs to this very day. Gives me reason and a purpose and never lets me down.
Gifting me, for my 15th birthday, my first guitar, because I wanted to write songs.
Letting me bang around on the expensive piano that stood in the hallway of our family home, because I needed to write "Piano" songs.
Taking my band of school mates all over London for gigs. Being our driver, chief roadie and head of security.
Always being interested in everything that I do, especially my music, right until your last breath.
And most important, for making, then shaping me to be the man that I am today.

The Sea:

The sea's all I need, shuffle and hide,
go figure with the tide.
The sea's where I needed to be.
The morning my father died, caught a chill deep inside,
but not from the breeze.
Sniffle and sigh, quake through my knees,
one step at a time.

to work out how I feel, shift thing's about.
Brain overkill, which way to go,
shall I follow, the same path as I always do.

Featuring myself on P-bass, V-drums and A guitar, is nine minutes of Cmi blues, separated into three parts so you don't have to sit through nine minutes of me playing with myself. That would be weird.

Wrote this for my daughter to be played at her wedding this year. Self-explanatory. Many thanks to my friend and music partner Nat Daniels for adding her talents on piano, bass and the drum track.

Whatever happened to choice?
It is what it is.
We are who we are.
This is probably the closest I'll ever get to one of those stupid quarantine songs. ( no offense meant if you wrote one btw ... ha,ha) 
Tough times around the world. Hopefully this music brings some sort of peace to those who listen. 

I really like the drums in this. Will puts some nice little subtleties there. 
I also concentrated on the bass line a little more in this.
Also the "bookends" on the both sides of the chorus make for a cool statement ... at least with Melissa singing it. 
She kicks it pretty hard in the bridge too. Every once in a while we have to let her show you what she can do, right?
