Becky Marques is a young woman who is from a very simple family and began playing the guitar that her grandfather gave her at the age of 6. At that time, she also learned basic things about bass and drums. But she wasn't playing the instrument she wanted, because she's a fan of Burt Bacharach. Later, at age 11, she saw a live keyboard in a church for the first time in her life, she began playing her keys as if she had studied for years and the pastor of that church (who was also a keyboardist) got thrilled and wanted to teach her a little more, so he gave her some tips and soon she could learn all by herself.

I'm a Qualified practitioner of the Grinberg Method and Intercultural Coach. 

A main part of the training is learning to notice the body and it's habitual reactions to situations, symptoms or people. 

Becoming aware of it as a habit and being able to train new ways of reacting to a sensation gives us more options and personal freedom. It also often creates more flow in the body, which it uses to balance itself and gain energy.

Ipecac Recordings is the brainchild of Greg Werckman (former label manager for the legendary punk label, Alternative Tentacles, employee for Mercury Records for a record 15 minutes, currently operating Pick-A-Winner Management) and Mike Patton (former frontman for Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, currently of Fantômas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom).

Werckman and Patton had been scheming for years (in between video games) about starting their very own label, waiting for just the right moment to unleash their master plan. Ipecac Recordings is not about to make music biz history and execute a revolution (although one is surely needed) or bore you by waxing poetic about their original musical philosophies. But if we have to adhere to a "mission statement," how about the notion of being an honest, artist friendly label run on a shoe string with no outrageous promotional or production costs. This label is a home to Mike Patton's eclectic musical collaborations as well as a place where bands we admire have the freedom to release music they might not be able to, or want to, release on other labels.
