Housepitality is an award-winning underground house music brand born in San Francisco. Founded in 1998 on the importance of producing dance music events that create an environment where patrons feel safe and can freely, “dance like no one's watching”. 

It’s flagship weekly cult Wednesday night, started by Michael Tello and Miguel Solari has been going strong at SOMAs f8 Nightclub consistently for ten years. Sought-after by its patrons, industry heads, artists, and dancers as an institution for House Music aficionados. In recent years it's expanded its brand, events, and marketing engine to Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago establishing itself as a domestic and international household name within the dance community and amongst underground House Music DJs around the globe. 

With a new imprint out of Chicago, Housepit Chi Records is the brand's newest vessel for releasing original material on vinyl and digitally from its vastly growing roster of resident DJs and producers. The “Housepit” crew is also constantly pushing the envelope in dance music when it comes to its production, live streaming has been no exception. Developing yet another platform online for its residents, special guest DJ’s and visual artists every week to broadcast its unique live stream. 

As the “Housepit” crew always says, “We got you!”

Drawing its energy from nature’s unspoiled soundscapes, Misbits Recordings proposes a chilled and relaxed state of mind, away from the usual dancefloor rush. A meditative groove in its very essence, aimed to define the state of melodic silence through compositions touching the ambient, experimental or downtempo genres.

Impassioned to inject intellectual material into the electronic music scene, OHM HOURANI continues to challenge his understanding of sound. Alongside his innovative studio work, the Montreal-based artist embraces the intricate relationship between technology and electronic music.
His record label ANOMA is dedicated to the distribution of minimalistic, distinctive sounds kissed with a jazzy flair. Funded by the Canada Council of Arts and released in 2019, debut full-length album Jazz of the Machine travels long a didactic path carved by modular synthesizers and drum machines, navigated in the company of carefully hand-picked musicians and vocalists. 

Hourani's playful enthusiasm manifests itself in his live sets and DJ sets that have piqued the curiosity of progressive-minded music enthusiasts and critics alike. His compositions showcase an infusion of organic sounds and live recordings with intricate sound engineering.
Collective works have been showcased live locally at his beloved MUTEK Montreal Festival, while also travelled abroad as feature performances at the Japanese edition of Montreux Jazz Festival. His DJ sets have resonated warmly with club audiences at esteemed institutions such as Berlin's Club Der Visionaere, on board floating Parisian club Concrete, or at one of New York's renowned afterparties. 

It's an amorous and insightfully curious approach to creating sound. You might even call it anomalistic.
