Rivulet Records are 5 friends who live in Leipzig and Berlin. They are connected through their different talents,
which reach from producing and playing music to creating artworks, as well as organizing parties (and events).
So it is the perfect combination for a very own label, which started in 2012 by releasing music by good friends,
mainly circling around the House and Deep-House universe. There was never a rule, which said which music
was released and which wasn´t, but they always felt the same way about what is good and what is not (and if
not it was discussed while having a family-pizza and watching „spider-man“). So that is it and that‘s how it will
be in the next years, hopefully.

STEPEP is a self-taught electronic music producer from Munich, who likes to blend sounds from various styles and genres. His music is influenced from House, Afro, Deep- and Tech to soulful garage and breakbeat, creating a unique and versatile style of its own.

 “I like to create music that fits my mood and that I can connect with emotionally. That’s why all of my tracks sound a bit different from one another.”

His inspiration comes from diverse sources such as nature, art, books, and all kinds of music he enjoys. He is also passionate about learning and improving his music production skills. He has participated in the Toolroom Academy Production Certificate in 2018 and the Toolroom Academy Creativity Unlocked course in 2019.

Besides working full time as an IT Professional, STEPEP spends his nights and weekends producing emotional electronic music.

Copenhagen’s Anders Trentemøller has long been respected as a creator of extraordinarily memorable melodies and dark soundscapes. While many artists follow a pattern of invention and reinvention, Anders’ arc has been a series of points along the same curve, playing the long game with each release representing the next chapter in a constantly evolving series.

Dreamweaver continues on this track, combining elements of shoegaze, dark wave, motorik, noise rock and somber, introspective takes on electronic pop but in a considerably more psychedelic manner. The chronology of its 10 songs is an immersive experience that presents additional otic pleasures when headphones are strapped on.

Connecting club culture to the wider world, on screen and irl through parties, film and video.
