This playlist contains my instrumental songs. I call this project Me And The Sea because these songs are mainly inspired by nature and the sea.

Mariosyjp, have just released their latest single "Memories," a powerful song that delves into the bittersweet recollections of people who are no longer in our lives.

Memories is a throwback to the golden age of rock, with a driving beat and soaring guitar riffs that will transport listeners back to the heyday of the genre. But it's the poignant lyrics that set this song apart from the rest, as lead singer, Cree, croons about people he's lost over the years.

"Memories of my Sweet Angeline" he sings in the opening verse, setting the tone for the rest of the song.

Mariosyjp have always been known for their ability to write catchy, hook-driven songs, but "Memories" showcases a new side to the band's songwriting prowess. They've managed to take a difficult subject and turn it into something that is both relatable and uplifting, a tribute to the people who have touched our lives in some way."We wanted to write a song that would make people think about the people they've lost and the memories they've shared," says guitarist, Mario. "But we also wanted it to be a celebration of those memories, and a reminder that even though those people may be gone, they're never truly gone as long as we remember them."

"Memories" is a song that will undoubtedly strike a chord with listeners, and it's already making waves in the rock world.

Dancing Alone With You

Dial Rock I on the CR-78 emulator, play some unknown chords on the EP, blow anything that comes to your mind on the melodica and add some bass. The waves sound were included by the drum machine itself. Apparently it was a limitation of the demo version, but it doesn't make much sense, since these waves sound so good =)

This time, I dialed Rock 3 on my drum machine, and guess what? I got a summer hit!

“Pacem Meam Do Vobis” closes the album with a paradox: a promise of peace wrapped in the shadow of death. Borrowing its title from the words of Christ in John 14:27 — “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you” — the song meditates on the tension between divine assurance and mortal finality. It’s a farewell not just in scripture, but in sound.

The track begins with apocalyptic brass — evoking the trumpet blasts of Revelation, heralds of both judgment and transcendence. From this dramatic opening, the song unfolds slowly, building with orchestral weight and sacred texts. But just when peace seems within reach, it arrives in the form of a flatline. A heartbeat stops. The listener is left with the chilling realization: in this world, the only peace we can be certain of may come with death.

Yet even here, a deeper meaning flickers beneath the surface. The text drawn from the Secreta for All Saints’ Day reminds us: “The souls of the righteous... seem in the eyes of the foolish to be dead, but they are at peace.” The concluding “Alleluia” — “Praise the Lord” — is not naïve joy, but a stubborn, defiant hope. It echoes the album’s recurring theme, first spoken by Virgin Black: “All is lost but hope.”

Pacem Meam Do Vobis is the sound of finality — and what might lie beyond.

A song about seeing a beautiful girl dancing in a old 60s film of a music group playing in a studio and wondering what happened to her and if she found love.

Thank you for listening to my music, I think I have found the right sound and I needed so much more practice.  The feedback has been amazing and helpful, we all need guidance and I need more than most. For me music is about self expression and I focus more on the emotion than been a Diva. What is fame?  A concept and for some it is important but for me my music is to bring solace to those who listen.  That is what years of music has done for me, helped me understand myself and fight my demons. The amount of tears I shed listening to music and how it helped me heal, that was the most important thing music helped me do, heal! Writing my own songs was cathartic and I released years of suppressed trauma and pain. Beautiful!
My timing is all over the place as I cannot do maths and my dyspraxia means my motor skills are rubbish and my guitar playing limited. Thank you for your support.  Keep on playing and singing! These tracks are my unplugged versions, as I am a musician but not a performer, so this is as close as I get to performing live! Thank you again for taking the time to listen!

Taken from the "First Base" album by iconic 70s band, Babe Ruth, this is our cover of "The Mexican" which, incidentally, interpolates the theme from "For Few Dollars More" by Ennio Morricone. We hope it gets your toes tapping and your castanets rattling. Enjoy.
