The words, the way I exercise freedom of speech 
The way I exorcise language possessed 
By corporate incantations, algorithmic beasts
The way I decimate traditional categories,
Broke down the gates, let the words off the leash.
No, not gonna stay in my lane, 
Speak in tongues like 
I can't pick just one 
Just tryna explain 
Language is technology,
Can leave you lifeless or fill you whole.
Every word a plot, 
every verse making maps of soul.
They want me contained, content, 
They want me playing by the rules
You mean the invisible lines you laid on the page?
Look more like a glitch in the system,
More like a cage.

How do you make peace with a lie? 
You don't. 
Hand on the Bible, they can't look you in the eye 
And testify. 
They won't. 
Inherently violent in the denial of 
What we know. Induces shame, 
Makes you rageful, blindness grows.
