Hi there, and welcome to our latest pre-release, 'Always Behind You' by Euphoriqa.

This track was written for our 'Sing for Clatterbridge' charity album 'Love & Hope Forever', which will be released early next month ready for our fundraising campaign on the run up to Christmas.

We are very excited about this album release as it will help us raise funds for Clatterbridge NHS Cancer hospital. We are thrilled to also announce that we have been joined by 4 other fantastic artists who have supported this cause with wonderful songs and music.

This project started 3 years ago, with the release of our 1st charity single release, 'I Still Believe', which is our Legacy to Clatterbridge NHS Cancer Trust. We had planned to release this single for charity every year with the hope it would become a popular song. We never would have thought 3 years ago that we'd have an Album to release! 

Whilst working on this album, we were very humbled by the thought that other people have been inspired by our project and have not only offered their support, time, creativity, but above all their compassion.  Through our music, we have each shared feelings and experiences with each other, which connect to our share goal, to help others. It is strange really as none of us have ever actually meet outside of this project and the things we've shared would not necessarily be the type of things you'd discuss with a stranger.  

So this connection, has really given us great faith in the fact that we all posses the strength and power to do good things, if we can just find a way to express it freely. We are also very happy to say that our project has given us an opportunity to connect amazing people from all over the world.

We have found this experience almost beyond words, and cannot thank Deborah Henriksson, Rebekah Vesey, Ged Hodkinson & Andreas Hoffmann enough for their contribution. 

So our song, 'Always Behind You' was inspired by working with our new friends and is a song about being there for one another, no matter what; and about the importance of letting others know we are there for them also. If everyone could find the time to reach out and help just one person each day, then  the World would be a better place to be. Unfortunately the World doesn't work like that, so in the absence of everyone doing this, the job is left to the rest of us to pick up the slack. 

Which on reflection is not such a bad thing to take on as a personal challenge.

When I (Julio) met Gessica in Soundcloud and listened her guided meditation records, I just loved it!
From this, a music idea came naturally to me and I invited Gessica to a collab work, using one of her recorded guided meditation tracks as a script... 
She accepted and, after some messages about it in Soundcloud, she made a brand new recording exclusive to this project, and for it I made a new composition, using synths in the background and a soft piano line...

After this, looking for a real smooth result, the second step was invite a good friend from here to help us, and so I called John Styles, a great composer and producer from who I'm a declared fan.

John moved up our original track to a new level, with a better instruments replacing, nice arrangement and polished final production. Thank you John!!!

Let me now reproduce some words about this guided meditation technique, right from Gessica:

"Storytelling and guided meditation are aged old traditions which have been used throughout history to pass on sacred information.

Tomy Cheyno, an indian medicine man from the Kiowa tribe, in Oklahoma, told me that the only way he was able to complete and endure his initiation into manhood was with the native american music and chants. Tomy had bone pierced through each nipple and was hung from a tree until the flesh tore through... he was 14.
 
He taught me many meditation techniques to manage pain, and I am now able to share some of what he taught me with you...

The breathing technique is very important in one's meditation. Placing the tip of the tongue on the roof of the mouth inhale through the nose expanding the abdomen outward, pause, relax the tongue, contract abdomen inward as the breath is exhaled through the mouth.

I learned to count my breath to a rhythmic count, where the four count was suggested:
Inhaling count 1,2,3,4... Pause 1,2,3,4... Exhale 1,2,3,4.
 
Of course any number pattern can be repeated. The most important is remember that the power in the breath comes in the exhalation!
The 3rd eye is stimulated via the amygdala and clarity/clairvoyance is received."
